Two above: Lunch courtesy of gentleman and scholar Brian Edwards at La Posta de Mesilla, Mesilla, New Mexico. Brian graciously invited us to his New Mexico and Texas Ranches, but unfortunately we haven't made one yet, though we shall! :)

Four above: Picacho Peak RV Resort, Picacho, AZ. Just wonderful.  A sparkling campground with friendly people and an excellent black bean burger with accompanying beer or wine.  Spend a night if you have the chance. Definitely a must stay for snow birds.

    1. That would be good. I could camp forever and have for many months at a time taking 3 months off in the summer crisscrossing the states 3 times, living aboard Camp Pendleton for quite a long while long as well as in Baja. Never a dull moment.

  4. Hi Brock,
What a Trip!! When you passed thru Louisiana I Hope you got a chance to see New Orleans!! If I'd have known you were coming I would have met you by the fountain in Jackson Square by St. Louis Cathedral!! Would have been glad to be your "Tour Guide!" I was Born there although I grew up just north of the Lake.....still, New Orleans is my old "Stompin' Ground" from "Back When!!" Well, "Next time!!!!"
