Only voters can now stop businessman Donald Trump’s march to the White
House. Last night’s Republican debate seemed a tacit acknowledgement of
that, with only the long-shot candidates willing to take Trump head-on.
Yup and if there isn't a drastic change and the GOP screws him, it will be the end of the GOP as a viable party, but a viable 3rd party will arise and we might be better in the long run if they screw him. Times a' changin'.
Can't blame him a bit for the business angle either....
"Trump had threatened to skip previous debates, saying the networks were selling millions of dollars of ads because of the viewers he's attracting. He had asked CNN to pay him $5 million to take part in the debate and pledged the money to veterans groups."
It's pretty much over except for the crying and moaning.
