Ole Miss: 'Too much Christianity' in Christmas

Via Billy

University of Mississippi

The University of Mississippi, located in the heartland of the South, in Bible-belt country, has changed the name of its annual “A Grand Old Christmas” to “Hotty Toddy Holiday” out of concern the “Christmas” reference might be seen as offensive.

The school also changed its annual Christmas tree lighting event to reference “tree lighting,” but not Christmas, the Daily Caller reported.

  1. If I were an Ole Miss alumni, I would say no more donations to these dingbats.

  2. NC State lost me. If we knew how much power our cash layout has we could win. How do the traitors amomg us eat? Never eat at a restaurant that serves halal food, and countless more should be listed.

  6. Just another prime example showing the extent to which the heartland's universities have been penetrated by commie-socialist educators and administrators. If it were not for student loans being paid directly from .gov to Ole Miss as opposed to Ole Misses funding coming directly from parents/students, this would not be happening. Universities are like any business in that they are dependent on a steady influx of MONEY. I would not even consider sending my kids to such a politically correct cookie-cutter establishment that has sold it's soul to the devil.

There are only a few I would consider and only one stands out being Patrick Henry in Virginia.

  7. Since they have dumped Colonel Rebel, the MS state flag, and are considering removing the rest of the school's Confederate past, the "progressive" donors have been dropping the cash on them. The PC crowd in Oxford and elsewhere are in the driver seat; but a potential roadblock is ahead as the MS Code prohibits them from renaming streets, buildings and removing historical markers etc. Stay tuned.

Should all be shot at dawn. Maybe we can bring Bedford back to care of these Scalawags/Carptbaggers.
