Kurdish Peshmerga forces recently liberated the town of Bashiqa from ISIS occupation in Iraq.

The local Christians restored the crucifix on St. George Syriac Orthodox Church in the town.
ISIS destroyed all our shrines, looted many houses and burned them after stealing all the expensive furnitures.
