Current Global Warming Is ‘Not Outside The Range Of Natural Variations’

A UK-based climate policy group has put out an annual climate assessment “exclusively on observations rather than climate models” to serve as a counterpoint to those put out by the United Nations and government agencies that warn of unabated global warming.

The Global Warming Policy Foundation’s (GWPF) climate assessment, like the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), noted 2016 was likely the warmest year on record due to an incredibly strong El Niño warming event that boosted tropical ocean temperatures starting in 2015.

That’s about all the GWPF’s report has in common with the WMO’s assessment for 2016, which warns “the influence of human activities on the climate system has become more and more evident.”

  1. We were told the 1980s that we would starve on baked earth that would no longer produce crops; that we would all to bite the bitter dust of AGW. If we made it to Y2k it would certainly be our last year. And Cher would leave the country if we didn't do something; I forget what it was.

In the '90s they caught those so-called scientists altering data that made downward slopes look like hockey sticks. Those of us that did not buy into the mythology of anthropogenic global warming demanded proof. Instead, we got unsubstantiated stories about 97% of scientists, the science is settled, books/movies like "The Coming Global Superstorm" by Art Bell, and models that didn't include the oceans. And Cher would leave the country if we didn't do something; I forget what it was.

The game is up; they grasp at straws. The warming is cyclical and we live in a warm period. Our contribution of carbon dioxide is minuscule compared to a volcano. And Cher would leave the country if we don't do something; I forget what it is.

Ha! Any reason she can come up will do.
