As the NFL's feud with President Trump continues to dominate headlines, a feud which has effectively turned ESPN into a politically-themed talk show, the league has decided to recruit additional talent to "provide crisis communications counsel to leagues executives."  Per a job listing posted to Daybook, the NFL says they're looking for a "Senior Communications Strategist" to be based out of New York City who can assist with "crisis communications" and "devise a strategy and long term vision to strategically position the NFL in the sports marketplace."  Here are some highlights:

Anyone ever think multi-billionaire business owners would be more afraid of and cater to their employees over their customers?   F'ing pussies.   Get your players under control.   Your own f'ing RULE BOOK says that all players are to stand with helmets under their left arm during the anthem without speaking.  Some dude wears a non-league approved sweat band and you fine the shit out of him for breaking the rules.   Break this rule, shit on the country, and do hundreds of millions of dollars of damage to your business, and you're okay with that?   Incredible stupidity.

  1. There is one "minor" detail the NFL players have over looked, that is regardless of they think they are and how important they are, they are, with out exception all expendable. Any player can be replaced. True, the new guy may not be the equal of the former, the position will still be filled and the team will go on without him. The current drama would end quickly if a player were to be fired, and without the option of signing on with a different NFL team.
This is NOT about denying any one's free speech rights. Go ahead and do all the protesting that you want, just do it on your own time and dime. I have zero interest what any celebrity of any kind has to say. To be blunt I consider all of them to be attention seeking hypocrites and just plain full of shit. BTW, how many celebrities have made good on their threat/promise to leave the country if Trump became president? Again, if this attention whores think the USA is that horrible, then pack up and leave the country for good. And don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.

  2. The NFL needs to release the data on how many thousands of dollars in fines have been collected for owners, players and employees refusing to follow their rules. No fines collected...then all the other fines for poor behavior need to be recinded. indyjonesouthere
