The White House on Monday said President Trump would sign a bill banning abortion after 20 weeks, if Congress passes the legislation.
The House is scheduled to vote Tuesday on the bill, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which is sponsored by Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz. If the bill were to become law, people who perform abortions after 20 weeks would face a fine, up to five years in prison or both.
The bill contains limited exceptions, including when a woman's pregnancy puts her life at risk and in cases of rape or incest.
"The bill, if enacted into law, would help to facilitate the culture of life to which our nation aspires," the Trump administration wrote in a statement of administration policy.

Dr Kelley Ross [of the Kant Fries School of thought] came to a similar conclusion, but I forget if it as at the 20 week mark
ReplyDeleteThanks and checking it out now.
DeleteIt's a start, but let's make it the day after instead of 20 weeks. Life begins at conception. Killing the unborn is still murder whether it's at 20 weeks or one day...............

DeleteA perfect example of this is the fact that Vietnamese are considered one year old the day they are born, so all Vietnamese are actually one year younger than we think.
