Al Franken has resigned. Not a bit surprised by any of it. I suspect it was the photo of him smiling at the camera as he was seemingly groping or about to grope that sleeping woman. He might have been able to ride out the scandal had it been a she said vs. he said, but to have a photo of the event in question prevents any PR spinning or constructing a "narrative". Timing could have not been worse for the groping AL. Given the events out of Hollyweird, the elite class knew the dirt people and the Deplorables were not going to be in a forgiving mood. Once again the lack of class was on display; Al just had to take one more jab at President Trump. Al still does not have a clue. He brought this disgrace upon himself. Karma meet Bitch. As a Minnesota resident, I will enjoy referring to Al as the FORMER Senator. Now, Al, do us all a favor and just go away.
