Trump lawyer sends cease-and-desist letter to Bannon

Trump lawyer sends cease-and-desist letter to Bannon: report

President Trump’s lawyers sent a cease-and-desist letter to former White House chief strategist Stephe Bannon Wednesday ordering him to refrain from making “disparaging statement” about Trump and his family, according to a new report.

ABC News reports the letter, from Trump attorney Charles Harder, accuses Bannon of breaching a non-disclosure agreement signed as part of working on Trump’s campaign.

“You have breached the Agreement by, among other things, communicating with author Michael Wolff about Mr. Trump, his family members, and the Company [the Trump campaign], disclosing Confidential Information to Mr. Wolff, and making disparaging statements and in some cases outright defamatory statements to Mr. Wolff about Mr. Trump, his family members,”

  1. Bannon is crazy and/or tratorious if the book is made up of incorrect info.
If the "Fire and Fury" book is correct, Team Trump has had a fresh 5 gal of gas thrown on the collusion embers.
Cease and desist order says a lot to me.
The Swamp got a two-fer. Bannon and Trump supporters divided.
Crap thrown on Trump, who's back on the defensive.
The timing of the book leak after the Moore/Bannon defeat, and Russia probe starting to fizzle out.

  2. Trump's base is unwavering and sees thru this. Believe it. It is a distraction from the revelations of the corrupt FBI and Clinton crime family. Funny how this book gets published just as Americans have been made aware of the depth of corruption of the FBI, CIA, NSA, etc. and indictments are about to be handed out. Trump is not on the defensive...he is now attacking. He will prevail.

    1. I believe the same. He's a strong Alpha Male and will always reply to insults and I agree with that.
