Anti-straight white male journal received $35,000 from taxpayers

The National Endowment for the Arts is funding a journal that writes extensively on white privilege and features feminist screeds like "Why I Left Men for Books" and "On the Coming Extinction of the Great White Male."

Electric Literature is a nonprofit based in New York dedicated to "making literature more exciting, relevant, and inclusive." The online journal received $15,000 from the Trump administration's NEA last month, bringing its total in taxpayer funding to $35,000.

  1. The first thing that comes to my mind with the phrase, "making literature more exciting, relevant, and inclusive" is an implied admission that they are not smart enough to read the classical works of literature. Those books are complex, use too many "big words" and makes the demand that the reader think about what he is reading. I suspect Electric Literature is the lunatic feminist rants dumb downed to a Golden book Dick and Jane level with the usual academic word salad phrases included.
I'd be willing to bet that I own more books that all of those resist gals combined. Also, they would many of my books beyond their reading comprehension. These feminist would find "Master and Commander" by Patrick O'Brian too difficult and demanding for them. Remember these are of the same generation raised on text messages and emojis to express themselves. I doubt if any them have written a letter to some one else.
As part of his efforts to drain the swamp, I would suggest to President Trump that the National Endowment for the Arts be abolished. RFN. Question here for one and all: When was the last time any thing good came out of New York?
