Michael Rubin (Evidently Insane): "It's time to assassinate Assad"

On April 8, after learning of the alleged Syrian regime's use of chemical weapons against a civilian neighborhood, President Trump tweeted that Syrian President Bashar Assad would pay a “big price.”

The last time the Syrian government so blatantly used chemical weapons, Trump ordered a barrage of Tomahawk cruise missiles to strike at the base responsible for the chemical weapons attack. In the wake of the latest incident, however, many analysts have pointed out that last year’s response neither deterred Assad nor undercut his momentum against the Syrian opposition and questioned whether a new missile barrage would be any different.

  1. Russia & The United States quibble over the "gas attacks". I'm thinking there's a 3rd party here looking to provoke a Russia vs. USA conflict and it has nothing to do with the current conflict. I know my theory is a stretch, but: Soros and company's final gambit to throw the world into a violent conflict that will lead to the dethroning of Trump, maybe?

  2. Last time I checked:

    1. The U.S. has NO vital national interests in Syria.

    2. Syria has NOT attacked the U.S..

    3. Congress has NOT declared war on Syria.

    4. Trump ran on a platform of STOPPING these overseas adventures not increasing them.

    5. At best there is little if any evidence it was Assad who used chemical weapons.

    6. Why is it OK for countless thousands of people to be killed with bullets, explosives, knives, machetes, rocks, hanging, clubs, and any other means but someone alleges killing with chemicals an sanity, along with the Constitution, gets tossed out the window?

    7. Any of course there is this little bit of information....http://www.newsweek.com/now-mattis-admits-there-was-no-evidence-assad-using-poison-gas-his-people-801542

    Y'all have a nice day.
