South Carolina lawmakers have introduced a bill that would allow them to secede from the U.S. if the federal government attempts to confiscate legally purchased firearms.

Three Republican representatives introduced the bill Thursday. It would allow the state's General Assembly to meet "to consider whether to secede from the U.S. based on the federal government's unconstitutional violation of the Second Amendment..." if the "federal government confiscates legally purchased firearms in this state."

  1. I can not imagine things would go that far under President Trump. He will find a way to settle things.

  2. Trump started it off - "Take the guns first, go thru due process
second. I like taking the guns early,” Trump said during a televised meeting on gun laws at the White House on Wednesday. “To go to court would have taken a long time.”

He planted the seed and it took off. Nothing is by mistake
    in politics.

  3. I'm afraid North Carolina is being invaded by the undesirables.
It was the original intent of the Second Amendment, many believe, to recognize a right that existed before the creation of the state and that the amendment itself protects, not grants the right to self-defense. In other words, the repealing of the Second Amendment should not matter, it is not government that grants us our rights. The right to self-defense predates government. The right to protect ones
property thru any means necessary existed long before there
was a government and more necessary today.

For sure as our Natural Right trumps all.

  4. Secession this time has no northern higher than thee Slavery issue to fall back on for reserves. Not a single American will let the 2nd amendment die without a real fight and the honor is ours again

Excellent point, but I don't think 'Not a single American' will hold true.
