A spokesperson for Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) on Sunday night said the panel will "attempt to evaluate" new allegations of sexual misconduct regarding Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
The spokesperson in a statement slammed Democrats for "withholding information" regarding the allegations.
"Yet again, Senate Democrats actively withheld information from the rest of the Committee only to drop information at politically opportune moments," the statement said, doubling down on his remarks that Democrats withheld the first allegation against Kavanaugh from Christine Blasey Ford, who went public last week.

Chuck Grassley is my state Senator. He needs to grow some balls. These last-minute accusations are simple dirty politics. If Senator Grassley has a good pair he would have told Whinestine it is too late. We had an investigation, you had this information since July and you said nothing. Time for a vote.

DeleteIn hindsight that would have been the best thing to do at the time.
Agree that Grassley blew the call on DiFi. He still assumes that the democrats are an honorable party when in fact they have never been honorable or played by the rules. Cut DiFi off at the knees, hold the vote today and then have the FBI investigate DiFi holding so called "evidence".
ReplyDeleteThen GROW A SET, Grassley.
ReplyDeleteI agree with indyjones; they're still locked on the view that the Democrats are the "loyal opposition" - they're only loyal to POWER, nothing else.
Power and money.
