Murkowski Votes 'NO' on Cloture, But the 'Yeas' Have It

Lisa Murkowski, you represent a state that Trump won by 15 points You campaigned on conservative values & putting strong judges on the court You have an obligation to confirm Kavanaugh If not, we the grassroots will launch a primary that will end your career
By a razor thin margin, 51-49, the Senate has voted to move forward with the confirmation process for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. The final vote is scheduled for Saturday.

Surprisingly, Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), one of the key swing votes, voted not to proceed to a confirmation vote for Kavanaugh.

  1. lisa m is confident she can be re-elected even if she got kicked out of the Republican party. she got re-elected once on a write in campaign. this is the politician who filed frivolous lawsuits against then Gov Palin in alaska the volume of which prevented the governor from properly doing her job. this politician is one of the most disruptive politicians in the senate because she just doesn't give a shit and by God is a better democrat than chuckie shumer

  2. The one thing I have noticed from this side of the pond is that President Trump has not unleashed any of his heavy artillery as yet. The odd mortar round here and there, yes, but nothing with a significant area impact so far. If I’m wrong, cousins, then please me for interfering but in my water I can’t help feeling that the best is yet to come.

    2. Yes. Middle England both geographically and emotionally - what's left of it, that is.
