Goodies from Ol' Remus

Seen at WRA

Road and Track - Here's the Difference Between All- and Four-Wheel Drive ... the terms "all-wheel drive" and "four-wheel drive" aren't interchangeable

Daily Mail - The moment the guns fell silent: Eerie WW1 recording captures exact second the chaos of war stopped ... recorded on the American front near the River Moselle, one minute before and one minute after the Armistice

Clarion Project - You Didn’t Hear About This Mob Attack in Minnesota ... attack should be understood as a “dry run” test

Transgenders, American Thinker - One of the things that is disturbing about this frenzy is the intimidation, the drive for total conformity, the insistence that everyone must adhere to the transgenders’ fantasies, that people must act accordingly, and that they must jettison any feelings of disgust at the idea of sexual self-mutilation. The world must must go along with their fantasies. And persons must address them in the appropriate way and must treat them like they want to be treated or they can be fired or expelled. In California, New York City and Canada, they will be sent to jail. There is transgender propaganda being introduced in schools and the Boy Scouts, and some parents have lost parental rights over their child.

Diversity, Sultan Knish, Asian students had the lowest Harvard admission rate of any group at 8.1%. White students were admitted at a rate of 11.1% and black students at a rate of 13.2%. Asian applicants had higher SAT average scores than every admitted student group, except white students. If America is suffering from a pandemic of racial inequities in education, how is it that black students are able to get into America’s most elite institution with SAT scores that would get a middle-class white student laughed all the way out the door? America is a fair and just society whose meritocracy has only been compromised by affirmative action. The lawsuit by Students for Fair Admissions reveals what racism in America really looks like.

History and geography, Republic Standard - Look at what John Dewey wants us to believe. Everything valued in traditional education for thousands of years is irrelevant. One of the giant steps was the introduction of Social Studies in the early years of the 20th century. History, geography, civics, politics, government, current events were lumped together and studied as one subject. Was this more efficient? Yes, if you’re trying to diminish and eradicate these subjects. What a remarkable coup. The most left-wing of a left-wing profession seized control of history and geography. Once the most important subjects studied in elementary and middle school, history and geography were now kicked to the curb. What explains this almost psychotic fear of time and place?

  1. The mob attack in Minnesota - I remember it; I remember reading
about it probably on some American patriotic right site. I remember
them all that's why I have the mind-set I have now.
Spare the savage and it will never stop.

Raise the Black Flag as Stonewall said. They didn't and the result were reaped in '65. :(

    1. I hadn't heard this but assume it could be true just like they continually lowered the difficulty of the FSEE until these days there is none. :)
