Macron to Trump: ‘You’re No Patriot!’

Macron to Trump: ‘You’re No Patriot!’

In a rebuke bordering on national insult Sunday, Emmanuel Macron retorted to Donald Trump’s calling himself a nationalist.

“Patriotism is the exact opposite of nationalism; nationalism is a betrayal of patriotism.”

As for Trump’s policy of “America first,” Macron trashed such atavistic thinking in this new age: “By saying we put ourselves first and the others don’t matter, we erase what a nation holds dearest, what gives it life, what makes it great and what is essential: its moral values.”

Though he is being hailed as Europe’s new anti-Trump leader who will stand up for transnationalism and globalism, Macron reveals his ignorance of America.

Trump’s ideas are not ideological but rooted in our country’s history.

"Now let me make it clear that I believe there can only be one defense policy for the United States and that is summed up in the word 'first.' I do not mean 'first, but'. I do not mean 'first, when'. I do not mean 'first, if'. I mean 'first — period'." --John F. Kennedy

    2. Thanks. I was twelve when JFK was assassinated, but recall watching TV that Sunday AM when Oswald was shot. In my studied opinion, Oswald was the fall guy, set up to be caught and shut up by the "deep state" against which JFK had committed several offenses. Two of the most notable: (1) The young President had decided to follow the sage advice of his unofficial advisor, Gen Douglas MacArthur and not get involved "in a land war in Asia". (2) In June of 1963, JFK signed an executive order for the U.S. Treasury to issue $5 Billion in "United States Notes" backed by silver which would have eventually put the private banking cartel, Federal Reserve, out of business in the United States. The "powers that be" just couldn't have that! That's my "conspiracy theory" and I'm sticking to it. --Ron W

      Too bad it didn't work.

  2. It was working, but was rescinded immediately after his assassination by LBJ. ( I have two of the "United States Notes" in my possession, a $5 Bill and a $2 Bill with Thomas Jefferson's picture.) My high school history teacher used to mock LBJ's "Great Society" and mock him as "the Great White Daddy in Washington who is gonna save us all". Some who have studied the assassination believe LBJ was in on it. An unofficial political confidant of Donald Trump, veteran conservative operative, Roger Stone, (a current target of Mueller) quotes Richard Nixon: "Lyndon and I both wanted to be President, but I wasn't willing to kill for it." --Ron W

Damn, I hadn't heard that before.

  3. We don't know who killed JFK but it is pretty certain Oswald didn't. It is also probable that Oswald was a paid CIA asset for years before JFK was killed. Why do you think they put all the evidence away for 50 years?

    1. The most researched documentary I've seen, has been "It's all just a Richman's Trick".
Three hours, many first hand witnesses, only b/c the other 50+ were dead. Seriously researched, at minimum.
