In the 158th year of the American civil war,
also known as 2018, the Confederacy continues its recent resurgence.
Its victims include black people, of course, but also immigrants, Jews,
Muslims, Latinos, trans people, gay people and women who want to
exercise jurisdiction over their bodies. The Confederacy battles in
favor of uncontrolled guns and poisons, including toxins in streams,
mercury from coal plants, carbon emissions into the upper atmosphere,
and oil exploitation in previously protected lands and waters.

Thanks and I saw that and figured the books were in the same vein.
DeleteWe are not the United States; we are just states. The Confederacy

DeleteThis woman is clinically insane. She has fabricated a dystopian vision of a fantasy world she wishes was true. Her fossilized dogma is wholly impervious facts, evidence, logic, common sense and reality. There were some things she failed to mention - And yes I AM being sarcastic - She forgot to mention how the Confederacy wants to starve children, to throw grandma into a snow bank to freeze to death, bring back the Dark Ages and black and white TV.
ReplyDeleteBut Bless her heart though, should she ever lose her job scribbling for that bird cage liner called The Guardian, I am sure her talents and experience will be appreciated at The Onion.
Now, that was good! :) Thanks.
