Last week, as the National Assembly in South Africa agreed to set a date for whites to have their land taken away, proponents of the land grab exulted, with one politician gloating, “Your time is up, white people.”
A motion from African National Congress (ANC) chief whip Jackson Mthembu to require the legislature to ensure a constitutional amendment to allow land expropriation without compensation was adopted, with 183 yea votes and 77 nay votes. The amendment would change section 25 of the constitution, which states that a “just and equitable” payment which reflects “an equitable balance between the public interest and the interests of those affected” must be offered for land.

DeleteThey don't have to destroy anything. With no maintenance everything will stop working in a year or two anyway. In less that five years it will be a "Global Catastrophe." The poor South Africans starving to death.

ReplyDeleteMy former employer has manufacturing plants and/or development labs all over the world. Durban, South Africa has both. About a decade ago our global tech center in Pittsburgh, PA started hosting selected chemists from each lab for a six month stint. We got Cecil and Bheki from Durban. Both black (not sure of the proper term anymore) males. A study in contrasts. Cecil was one of the warmest, friendliest people that I ever met. Bheki was just the opposite. You could just tell by his attitude that he hated us Caucasians. He would barely acknowledge our existence. Constantly staring daggers. The only people that he would associate with were other blacks in the lab. He ended up being sent back home after a couple weeks for being uncooperative. Every year I would hold a huge home brew tasting picnic at my house and break out kegs of the latest, greatest creations. Naturally I invited all of our international colleagues that were here at the time to make them feel welcome in the US. Cecil was the hit of the party. He spoke five different African languages, one of them being the one with all the clicks and other sounds. We were all sorry to see him leave when it was time for his return to SA. I hope that he hasn't become brainwashed by all the hate.............

As they have been following the pattern that was established in Rhodesia, all of the farm land that is taken away will go fallow, and food production will come to a screeching halt. The leaders and followers of ANC do not have the faintest idea of how to farm.
