Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Saturday that the Senate will take up President Trump's plan to tie more than $5 billion for the border wall to temporary legal protections for some undocumented immigrants next week.

"I intend to move to this legislation this week. With bipartisan cooperation, the Senate can send a bill to the House quickly so that they can take action as well," McConnell said in a statement.

  1. I don't trust these guys as far as I can throw them. The Koch Brothers have made it known that they are livid at Trump - for a variety of reasons - but they have stated that they not only will not be supporting him next year for his re-election run, but that those in the GOP who rely on them for donations will find the checkbook closed for their re-election efforts if they back the President. If I were the President, I would have my people get every bit of dirt on these people, as well as seek out people who'd like to replace the establishment types in a primary run. Make it plain to those in the party who support him but are rather timid about it due to folks like McConnell (Who's a wholly owned subsidiary of the PRC by the way.) that they'll be backed no matter what, if they support the President.
As for the rest, the President knows who has his back and who doesn't. What he should do is take that dirt his people have dug up, publicly destroy those loyal to the establishment and then primary them out of existence.
He should also be aware of the following and I'm sure he is: Right now, McConnell and company are four-square behind him because they need the judges to be confirmed - especially if RBG exits the stage. Once they have what they want, they'll stab him in the back with a smile on their face. McConnell and company really need to be put out to pasture.

    1. If Trump gets close to nominating/confirming another justice, the SS better watch his back, though come to think of it, I am sure Pence would take the person up anyway.
