  1. Pleased to see the Confederate regalia at Dixie's Stone Mtn.
    Speaking of General Robert E. Lee. Today was General Lee's
    surrender. Sad, indeed. Be honest with yourself. Do you know, without Google, the historical significance of today’s date? And, can you explain why it is so significant?

    Hint: April 9, 1865 was the day General Robert E. Lee surrendered his Army at Appomattox. It is probably the most important day in American history for it was the day America died.

    It was the day that it became militarily “official” — from this date forward, the FedGov would be the sole judge to the limits of its own power. In other words, there was to be no more free and sovereign States (aka “States Rights).

    It shouldn’t surprise anyone to find out that it has since judged that there ARE NO LIMITS to said power.

    We often hear such slogans as “take America back,” etc. The only way we will EVER accomplish that is through open rebellion.

    I thoroughly agree, a rebellion is our last chance to rid
    ourselves of this rogue gov. They serve us and our wishes;
    we don't serve them.

    1. Thanks, agreed and I always post my great grandfather's recollection of the surrender as the last post of the day.
