  1. Good! 'preciate you postin' that! Two of the first were "Jim Tom" and "Popcorn Sutton" from one of my fav TV shows, "Moonshiners", with lots of that excellent communication!

  2. I watched the whole episode on Dailey Time waster and I sure miss listening to that melody... I use to live in the Northeast Alabama at the bottom of the Appalachia. Not the same here in the wastelands of SD, too nasally and clipped. I have a harder time understanding them here then when I live there. Gotta go back! Food and music better too!

  3. Actually, I like some of the other characters on "Moonshiners", like Mark Rogers, the Mountain Man. They are Liberty lovers who just want to be left alone, make likker and a livin' off the land. Gotta love that unless you're of the heathen ruling class. What was Popcorn's sayin', "Jesus turned the water into wine and, by God, I turned it into likker"

  4. I done seen it afore but it was twicest as good this time round.
It's funny that I was born, raised and have lived my entire 60 years here on on the Left Coast but I have absolutely no trouble understanding what they are saying. My Mom and her parents came from Missouri and Tennessee.
I have actually been accused of being from Missouri before. Guess I must have picked some of it up.
Thank ye fer posting it again Mr. Brock
    RIP Popcorn.

    1. I would love to but am quite certain that I wouldn't want to come home again. I have often dreamt of living in the Ozarks or the Appalachians.
I'm sure I could find something to do, if it's mechanical, I can fix it. There is always a demand for guy's like that. I can't even get my wife to move out of this damned Liberal infested county though.
