Lindsey Graham Vows to Have ‘Whistleblowers’ Testify Publicly if Dems Impeach Trump

On this week’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) vowed to have the “whistleblowers” charging wrongdoing of President Donald Trump testify publicly if House Democrats move forward with impeachment.

Graham said. “Here’s what’s going to happen: if the whistleblowers’ allegations are turned into an impeachment article it’s imperative that the whistleblower be interviewed in public, under oath, and cross-examined. Nobody in America goes to jail or has anything done to them without confronting their accuser. So here is what I’m going to insist upon, but the whistleblower one or two, whatever, they come forward, under oath, inform so the public can judge her credibility. If that doesn’t happen in the House I’ll make sure it happens in the Senate.”

He added, “Yeah, I’ll use Nancy Pelosi ‘s words. This is about the Constitution, the democracy, the Sixth Amendment allows people to confront witnesses against him. There can be no valid inquiry, unless Democrats vote, and once you vote, there can be no valid impeachment process unless the president can confront the witnesses against him. Who are these people? where did they come from?”

  1. Graham is a whole lot of talk and very little action. I'm a native South Carolinian and he's useless in my opinion. He ain't been nothing but a John McCain copycat up until recently.

    2. I agree Alan. As a North Carolinian I see him as useless as Tillis. Maybe a little more verbose but at the end of the day just another over-paid political actor.

    3. I'll trade Tillis for Graham! :)

    4. I'd trade Gen. Curtis Lemay & Gen. George Patton, if I could figure out how to resurrect them, for entire current CIA/FBI/NSA/DEPT of Defense leadership.

  2. This is why there will BE NO IMPEACHMENT. The process opens the left up to all the legal mechanisms Trump can use to FORCE them into the light and expose their crimes. They will THREATEN impeachment as an excuse to keep "investigating" Trump (if Trump is under CONSTANT non stop investigation it helps keep the spotlight off the many crimes of the commie left) but they do NOT want to actually proceed and give him
the unassailable right to subpoena, depose and force testimony under oath. Proceeding would also require the 'whistleblowers' to be publicly identified....and discredited as the liars they are. So the status quo is NOT going to change. No impeachment and the continuation of the endless conga line of feckless liars making baseless unsubstantiated claims about Trump to keep the circus going and the spotlight OFF of the commie demonrat left.

  3. He did co-author the Red Flag law bill. I hope that never gets passed. He also wants to cut retiree's Social Security benefits. He said that's why they can't bring the National Debt under control. I don't like him.

  4. Right, Alan. As I see it, "Red Flag" laws violate the 4th,5th and 6th Amendments which he and many other politicians are quite willing to do when the goal is to INFRINGE on the 2nd Amendment right of the People! --Ron W
