Immigrants

I may piss a few of you off by posting this. We can handle it one of two ways: discuss it like adults or you can unfriend me. Your choice. You have your opinion and I have mine. Before anyone gets their panties in a wad, I myself, and my wife came here from other countries, as did most everyone else's ancestors, and they learned the language and worked and never once did I hear any of them trash America. They became citizens, were proud to be one - just like myself. I am nice to everyone and I have no problem with anyone coming here and making a good life for themselves and their family, BUT if you are coming here and expect us to become what you just came from, then that’s not happening! Return and work on your country and make it better where you can be proud to live in it.
Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of AMERICA, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

“IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT.”

Take it or leave it. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans. This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.

We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language.

Most Americans believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools.

If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our "culture." We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us. This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this.

But once you are done complaining and whining about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great AMERICAN freedom,
"THE RIGHT TO LEAVE".

If you aren't happy here, then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country that accepted you.

NOTE:

IF we circulate this among ourselves, WE will find the courage to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

If you agree, please SEND THIS ON and as for those who disagree, move to a country that suits you and live there. "

THANK YOU!

  1. Yep, more than fair. If you want to become an American, be an American. Don't ask Americans to accommodate your former country which you chose to leave. We like it here the way it was and don't require change.

  2. I couldn’t have said it better. I’m sick and tired of listening to the left TELL ME, I have to kowtow to some immigrant. Never mind the majority are here illegally.

  4. I have some friends and shirttail relatives that are 1st generation immigrants. They all did the studying, and became citizens, legally!
They all speak English and are all Christians. They are all proud to be US citizens. I am blessed by all of them.

  5. A delightful photo (she's quite the dish)!
A post-script right on the money!
And the prop in the background is from an era past, when the points made by Hans were universally accepted and adopted.
    Well done!

  6. My parents arrived here from Eastern Europe well prior to the attempted European Anschluß; they became Americans as soon as the law permitted; we spoke only English at home.
I was born in the Bronx, completed my education, and due to the debt I felt, volunteered for Uncle Sam's Armed Forces thereby completing my requirements for citizenship.
I strongly believe that the "right" to suffrage should be based (with physical disability exceptions - perhaps) on service to our country in the Armed Forces.

  8. Yes...i wasn’t alive years and years ago to see it, but the historians say the first peoples to live on this land *walked* here from Asia...

We might argue what the *official* language should be, but i agree that “English” is the predominant language spoken coast to coast. Dare i even suggest to call it “speak American” because English is the language of the United Kingdom?

    1. Interesting in that for many years after '75 Vietnamese said the same: "Speak American."

  10. Amen as well.

You should hear my Kazakh wife belt out - with enthusiasm, even if off-key - the refrain to Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American"! She stands with her hand on her heart for the anthem when many native-born Americans stand, at best, and sometimes even remain seated.

  13. There are so many bubbles to burst, I don't know where to begin. It's a good thing that your and my ancestors didn't think like you. They didn't come here to "find" a better life. They came here to MAKE a better life, and they made your and my lives better as a result. Those of you that blindly support the armed forces don't know its true history. You assume that they "fight to protect our liberties." Nothing could be further from the truth. They really fight to protect corporate interests, including plundering foreign resources and assassinating any democratically elected leaders that get in their way. The US has made life outside the US difficult by destroying liberties, democracies, economies, cultures, and installing military dictatorships that have assassinated millions of their own citizens in many dozens of countries including Guatemala, Chile, Iraq, Vietnam, Argentina, El Salvador, etc. My ancestors, very likely just like yours, came here because the US military didn't allow staying in their own country to be a very good option. If you truly loved your country, you would get educated with books from ex-CIA, FBI, DEA officers and agents, ex-State Department officials, an ex-US Attorney General, ex-USAF and Army colonels, etc. (L. Fletcher Prouty, Michael Levine, Robert B. Stinnett, William Blum, Ramsey Clark, Smedley Butler, and hundreds of others who discovered that the reality is that they have been deceived). These include "Killing Hope," "The Immaculate Deception", "Freeing the World to Death," "Barry and 'The Boys'", "Confessions of an Economic Hitman," and many, many more! You have been manipulated by enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC, into believing the foreign terrorist fantasy! True patriotism does NOT involve blindly following the very interests that are destroying this country! And it sure sounds like you're the one that's not happy here. If you can't handle the struggles that are required to make this country as great as it can and should be, including in the eyes of God, then why don't you lead by example and exercise that very right that you so solemnly proclaim, the "right to leave"!

  14. Yes, I am referring to the author of this piece as well as all those that follow along without utilizing critical thinking. I didn't see a single dissenting opinion pointing out the obvious errors in history and logic. This is textbook "Group-Think", which is continually programmed into us in the media and in our "education"!

  15. Wow! I'm impressed! Everyone should see the video in your link above for Smedley Butler. Are you not concerned that, while you are obviously well informed, the readers of your blog are being led over the cliff through false patriotism fueled by ignorance and errors in basic logic?

  16. @boron: Are you familiar with the distiction between CITIZEN and CIVILIAN in Heinlein's "Starship Trooper" novel?

@carolinaTURTLE: My non-native-English-speaking wife had, for years, a T-shirt that said "Welcome to America... now speak English!"
