'Falsely branded as white supremacist and racist'

A lawyer for George Zimmerman, the man who fatally shot teen Trayvon Martin in Florida in 2012 and was acquitted of all charges, has sued Democrat presidential hopefuls Pete Buttigieg and Elizabeth Warren.

The claim alleges the two "maliciously defamed" Zimmerman, using Martin's death "as a pretext to demagogue and falsely brand Zimmerman as a white supremacist and racist to their millions of Twitter followers."

Lawyer Larry Klayman filed the action in Circuit Court for the 10th Judicial Circuit in Polk County, Florida.

  1. Good for George. I hope his law suit ends up destroying both the Democrat/Socialist lives. But we all know the Washington D.C. vultures will protect their own.

  4. If George Zimmerman had been named Jorge Gonzalez, I doubt it would have been nationally known. President Obama helped fuel a racially charged aspect when he said, "if I had a son, he would look like Trayvon" as though he was targeted by his race instead of his actions. And then the media came up with a new term, "white Hispanic". But by "the rule of law", a jury decided it was justifiable self defense with deadly force. The left and their media allies despise the right of armed self defense and they thrive on racial animosity for which they agitate. --Ron W

His mother was a Mexican as I remember and his grandfather was black. Couldn't make this crap up.

  5. And a mulatto President said the criminal perp who got himself killed by justifiable homocide would look like his son. And that was supposed relevant to what should have been a local tragedy that happens around the country because of criminals doing what they do. --Ron W
