The DNC and the Ministry of Propaganda (MSM) are going after Rudy to the point of seeking to bring criminal charges against him. No, not yet. But just you watch. Because merely harassing and seeking to discredit the fellow is insufficient. Mr. Giuliani has touched a nerve in them. His investigations have cut them deeply. Unfortunately, it seems AG Barr is in on it too.
Just look at Barr's record. Going back to the Senate Select Committee ('Church Committee') investigating FBI,CIA, and NSA abuses, ahead of the Senate hearings, Barr wanted to destroy CIA documents. Then look at Barr's role in Iran-Contra and the Ruby Ridge investigations.
Just today, Sundance posted how Barr is being careful in how Barr handles the information Rudy Giuliani has on Ukraine malfeasance. Compare this to how readily the false Steele dossier was accepted. Granted, Barr was not AG when the dossier came into play. Yet Barr will hand over Giuliani's information to a DOJ staffed with the same players. Too, Barr has stated that no prosecutions will occur in an election year.
Also, it's generally good that one should want to do what's best for the president. However, one must place their conscience before loyalty to a man lest, among many undesirable things, they wind up on the wrong side of history.
I say this because one may be inclined to say, Well, Barr was only protecting his president.
