It seemed clear several weeks ago this was
going to happen. East coast blue state governors and West coast blue
state governors are uniting to begin the economic civil war planning to
block any White House effort to re-open the U.S. economy. The founders
planned for this in Article I, Sec 10 (paragraph 3):
“No state shall, without the consent of Congress, … enter into any agreement or compact with another state”..
The three step plan seems predictable: (1)
Get out ahead of President Trump. (2) Defy the ‘all clear’ and shape
economic benefit to their political allies. (3) Then use Fauci’s
upcoming dossier to hit the administration for heartlessly opening the
economy too early.

This works to Trump's advantage I think. If Trump declares "Open the Economy' and West / East Coast governor's hold back, Trump says "Fine - Now You Own the Consequences of Your State's Economies - All of It !"
ReplyDeleteWill the constituents who are stuck at home with nothing to pay their bills be willing to do this ? I don't think so, the stimulus will at best pay for a month or two, then its back to Reality. The person responsible for holding them back will be blamed, Hungry Kids rules over Party Ideology.
It's amazing how Trump eggs the liberals on. :)
