Bridger is a hero. How brave is this young man?

Hey, all. Please, share my nephew’s story so that it gets as much exposure as it can. We know that our little hero would love some words of encouragement from his favorite heroes. On July 9th, my six year old nephew Bridger saved his little sister’s life by standing between her and a charging dog. After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to keep her safe. He later said, “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.” After receiving 90 stitches (give or take) from a skilled plastic surgeon, he’s finally resting at home. We love our brave boy and want all the other superheroes to know about this latest hero who joined their ranks. @tomholland2013 @chrishemsworth @robertdowneyjr @markruffalo @prattprattpratt @twhiddleston @chadwickboseman @vindiesel @chrisevans #BridgerStrong #apemanstrong

  1. You don't need super powers to be a hero. Well Done Bridger.

  7. Amazing young man. To make the active choice to save his sister even at the cost of his own life. This is how to define Unconditional Love.

  8. A Hero, a real man willing to sacrifice his life for another. Has the heart of a warrior. So few in this world. God bless him and also his parents for raising him right. Make me proud to read. Thanks.

  12. This is what Men are For. This is the REASON for men. To stand against aggression. Very few remember this anymore.
May God bless you, Young Sir!
    Bear those scars with PRIDE.

  13. Such fearlessness. He has inherited the protective instinct
which is becoming rarer and rarer. It is biologically determined.
Wonder what kind of dog it was. Obviously, some big teeth.

  15. Bridger and his family were visiting the family who owns the dog according to ABC news. Strange the dog owners did not know their dog was
    aggressive.
