72% of GOP Voters Say Republican Party Should Be ‘More like Former President Trump’ Moving Forward: Sen. Mitch McConnell Favorability Stands at 18 Percent.

Nearly three-quarters of Republican voters believe the GOP should be “more like former President Trump” moving forward, a Rasmussen Reports survey released Thursday indicated.

Debate has continued to rage among Republicans about the direction the party should go in following Trump’s presidency. This week, Trump blasted Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who is among politicians attempting to walk the line between appeasing the pro-Trump GOP base and resuming business as usual in establishment circles.

    He just won reelection and knows in six years what he says now won't matter.
