Pentagon Goes Rooting for ‘Extremists’ Among Its 3.6mn Trained Killers

Via Billy

The US military is making a big show of cleansing its ranks of ‘extremism’ – because nothing says tolerance like raining fiery death on innocent strangers at the command of a guy who just stepped down from Raytheon’s board.

With “domestic extremists” now officially the enemy du jour in Washington, the top order of business has become finding some. On Wednesday, newly-anointed secretary of defense (and former Raytheon board member) Lloyd Austin ordered a two-month stand-down so that commanders could engage in “needed discussions” with their subordinates on the issue.

  1. How quaint. I can recall when I was on active duty back in the early 90's and over half of my company in basic was either blood, or crip. There was also a handful of the hispanic gangs represented as well. Guess which ethnic groups were ignored and guess which one were harassed by the cadre to cover up any tattoo that had anything to do with either the revolution, or the Confederacy? So please, spare me the "We're worried about traitors within our ranks." bit. be honest for once. 'we want all Heritage Americans purged from our ranks, that way when we begin rounding that same group up to haul them away for the camps, we don't have to worry our own guys giving us a problem."

  2. It's always easier to go after imaginary enemies than real ones. Plus it makes all the useless EEO staff suddenly important in the food chain. Clinton also went after "militias".
