WACS in VIetnam

Via Huong-Can Thi Nguyen

 May be an image of 2 people, people standing and text that says 'Down Range Vietnam War Collectors Page Ron Doyle 2h Notice the US ARMY Viet Nam patched white ascots and white aiguillettes worn.'

UPDATE: based on additional research by a member, Robert Dixson who clued me in that the photo was from the 25th Anniversary of the WAC.

Photo he found was taken at the HQS for USARV and I found more an article about WAC in Vietnam. Now we know the photo is from May of 1967.

======================================

Okay history sleuths. You did really well on our last mission in finding our who the nurse was.

This photo of two women soldiers who were working at Headquarters (HQS) for USARV. (Where I worked the first year.) USARV Headquarters, Long Binh, RVN

The photo was post on another FB page but the member has not responded to my question about photo source.

No year mentioned either.

I believe over 10,000 women served in Vietnam in different MOS for medical staff and support staff. Being at USARV, these two soldier would be support staff.

Thanks, Keith. Admin Team.
