Biden’s Back in Afghanistan: US Deploys Bombers and Gunships to Fight Advancing Taliban Terrorists; Embassy Urges Americans to Leave Country “Immediately”

 Via Billy

Shortly after announcing the departure of US troops from Afghanistan, Biden has deployed B-52 bombers and AC-130 Spectre gunships in a desperate attempt to slow the advances of Taliban terrorists who have taken over half of the country.

The aircraft are deploying from a US airbase in Qatar and will be joined by unmanned reaper drones in their assault on the insurgents. Their efforts will focus on 3 key cities that are currently being attacked – Kandahar, Herat, and Lashkar Gah.

  1. Anyone even remotely conscious knew that as soon as we left the Taliban was going to come crawling out of the cracks like cockroaches to reinfest everything.....and bombing the shiite out of them is not something anyone should be losing any sleep over. The only fly in that ointment is their tendency to hide behind women and children when the ordnance flies.

      Sounds familiar.

  2. The dementia-ridden fool is using 1973 tactics: "We did everything we could to stem the advance of the treacherous enemy, but our ally wasn't up to fighting for his own country".

  3. Afghanistan is the Brit's fault. When the British lost their third Afghan war which coincided with WWI it left a power vacuum. The country was Buddhist and Hindu but under Ghazi Amanullah a small faction of islamist infiltrated the warloard valley's in the west spreading the religion of peace north and eastward by killing anybody that opposed them.

Today's Taliban are doing the same thing. They are establishing themselves in the west and working their way north and east. The populace of Afghanistan has no allegiance except to their warloards or whoever is paying them the most.

We should have cut our losses 15 years ago. The only way to succeed in Afghanistan is to wipe out every trace of islam. That would leave less than 1% of the population.

    1. I spent way too much time in Afghanistan with 1 tour Active Duty and another 9 years between Afghanistan and Iraq as a contractor with most of the time based out of Bagram Afghanistan. I lived a year in a safe house in Kabul and another at FOB Salerno (Rocket City). The Kabul year was like the wild west but throw in IEDs and suicide bombers.
