Third Drowning Of The Year At Emerald Isle
Foreign Aid
Dear Mr. Townsend:
Thank you for contacting me regarding your opposition to foreign aid. I value hearing from you on this matter and appreciate the opportunity to respond.
You will be pleased to know that I am opposed to spending taxpayer dollars on aid to foreign countries. Our taxes should be spent on maintaining and improving our domestic issues and programs. For many years our government operated beyond our means while accumulating a $5,369.7 billion federal debt and a $290,402 million budget deficit. In this time of economic strife, I believe that lending more foreign aid would be detrimental to our country's already fragile financial state. Further, we need to take care of our own people before we continue to hand out more borrowed money to other countries.
I will keep your thoughts in mind when legislation concerning foreign aid is brought to the House floor. Rest assured that I do not support foreign aid and will continue to vote "no" on foreign appropriation legislation as I have consistently done in the past.
Again, thank you for taking the time to write on this important issue. If I may be of further assistance, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Walter B. Jones

Dear Taxpayer,
Air Force 2 only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO 2. These are only rough estimates, but they are close. That’s quite a carbon footprint, as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.
I know times are hard, and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. I do appreciate your sacrifice and do hope you find work soon. I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago, so I just had to get away for a few days.
Cordially,
Michelle Obama
The Tyrant Lincoln
ANYONE who even reads the slightest bit of history on the matter will understand that at best Lincoln was indifferent to the plight of the slaves and in actuality, supported deporting them all. He repeatedly made statements stating that he thought blacks were inferior to white men and that they should not be afforded the rights of white men.
The modern historical Lincoln is a total fabrication. That man never existed. He in fact was a crude, poorly educated, big-business lawyer who won the Presidency through a fluke splitting of the Democratic party. He is directly and personally responsible for the invasion of the South and the deaths of over 600,000 men and 50,000 civilians. Under his direct orders, war was deliberately waged against civilians and private property. If he lived today, he would be tried and hung by an international war crimes tribunal. He violated the constitution more than any other president before or since. Enshrining his effigy in a marble temple in Washington followed by hundreds of academics busily rewriting history for 150 years does not change the fundamental truths about this greatest of depots, under which Americans have suffered, or relieve the guilt of those who fought his unholy war.
In the end, he received his just due, although I wish he had died after laying in some field half the night with his guts blown out like so many of the men he murdered."

NC LS September Conference and Nathaniel Macon Institute
NC LS September Conference and Nathaniel Macon Institute (NMI)
“Localism: Effective Political Activism at Home”
(a facilitated panel-discussion)
11AM-3PM
Saturday, 18 September 2010,
Mayflower Seafood Restaurant, 1160 Huffman Mill Road
Burlington, North Carolina
Our September Conference will be highlighted by a panel-facilitated discussion with LS REBELLION! Blogger Mike Tuggle and others, and it will focus on practical NC LS member involvement (and realistic expectations) in local political initiatives---plus best-practices for inserting convincing traditional conservative arguments into local debates. All towns across North Carolina have their Tea Party and assorted conservative groups, and we encourage members to get involved locally to present ideas which frame the debate in clear, simple and true Constitutional terms. Remember, all politics is local.
From stressing the importance of State sovereignty and the intent of the Tenth Amendment, to watering the seeds of self-determination for North Carolinians in the face of a despotic nationalist regime, we must first be active locally and seize opportunities to build consensus for liberty.
Join us for an inspiring and interactive day of dialogue, learning and re-energizing ourselves.
Directions:
Take Exit 141 off I-40/85 and turn West away from town (left if you are coming from Raleigh, right if you are coming from Greensboro). The Mayflower is located on the left just beyond the interstate overpass and beside the Kangaroo gas station.
