The Latest New York Times Nonsense About Lincoln
"On March 4, 1861, Lincoln praised the Corwin Amendment in his first inaugural address, offered his support of it, and said that while he believed slavery to already be constitutional, he had no reservations about making it 'express and irrevocable' in the text of the U.S. Constitution"

CONFEDERATE TRUTH
Yes, Ma-am.
For over a century, the truth about our South has been, deliberately, kept from the public. Along with generations of other Americans, we, our children and grandchildren have been literally brainwashed with the victors’ lies—and I do not use the word “brainwashed” carelessly, I use that word deliberately.

Debate Is Taboo On The Great Centralizer, Lincoln
I found out the hard way that Lincoln scholars (read, apologists for ever-increasing political and economic centralization) have no interest in debating any point of law, Constitution, or even history when it comes to the deeds of America’s original and greatest of presidential centralizers, the incomparable Abraham Lincoln. They prefer lies, name-calling, and the hyperbole of smear against anyone who challenges the Lincoln myth.

"A Penny For Your Thoughts, Mister Lincoln"
Some comments:
1. "Should have at least double-tapped him to be sure."
2. "And who says actors can't shoot well or make a political difference?"
3. "So, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?"

Lincoln Idolatry, Imperialism, And ‘Venomous Homophobia’
Posted by Thomas DiLorenzo on October 13, 2010 06:24 AM
That’s the agenda of the Claremont Institute, as this article from The Nation magazine explains. It appears that the Institute’s Dr. Strangelove, Harry Jaffa, high priest of the Lincoln Cult, is also a rather obsessed homophobe, and has been for decades. He bases such views on a unique version of “natural rights” that he adopted from his mentor, the atheistic numerologist Leo Strauss. This is not the “natural rights” theory of Jefferson and other founders, but a counterfeit version.
This explains why two fellow academics called me a couple of years ago to ask me the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid question about the Claremontistas: “Who are those guys?” They called after presenting a paper at an academic conference in which they argued that Lincoln was bisexual (not my field of expertise), and were taken aback at how some Straussian Claremontistas in the audience responded with over-the-top personal attacks as opposed to the normal academic debate. They discovered that I had also dared to disagree with The High Priest over his (mis)interpretations of Lincoln, and was subjected to similar childish behavior. I explained to them that Claremont is a cult, whereby Jaffa has taken the place of Strauss. As with all cults, the cult leader espouses The Official Truth, and the job of his minions is to smear, attack, and denigrate all doubters. That’s why they belong in a circus, not in academe.

Casus Belli
"In 1861, the tripwire was the Confederate bombardment of Fort Sumter, South Carolina. Prior to that incident, Lincoln was faced with a huge political problem. A majority of the people of the North wanted to avoid a civil war. So Lincoln contrived to get the Confederates to cede the moral high ground........ Lincoln's gambit worked and the Confederacy took the bait to it's peoples' eternal sorrow. Imagine the Federal rout of the First Battle of Bull Run (SIC S/B Manassas. BT) WITHOUT the justification of Fort Sumter. The pressure on Lincoln to stop the war and negotiate would have become immense." Read more HERE.

The Tyrant Lincoln
ANYONE who even reads the slightest bit of history on the matter will understand that at best Lincoln was indifferent to the plight of the slaves and in actuality, supported deporting them all. He repeatedly made statements stating that he thought blacks were inferior to white men and that they should not be afforded the rights of white men.
The modern historical Lincoln is a total fabrication. That man never existed. He in fact was a crude, poorly educated, big-business lawyer who won the Presidency through a fluke splitting of the Democratic party. He is directly and personally responsible for the invasion of the South and the deaths of over 600,000 men and 50,000 civilians. Under his direct orders, war was deliberately waged against civilians and private property. If he lived today, he would be tried and hung by an international war crimes tribunal. He violated the constitution more than any other president before or since. Enshrining his effigy in a marble temple in Washington followed by hundreds of academics busily rewriting history for 150 years does not change the fundamental truths about this greatest of depots, under which Americans have suffered, or relieve the guilt of those who fought his unholy war.
In the end, he received his just due, although I wish he had died after laying in some field half the night with his guts blown out like so many of the men he murdered."
