"A Penny For Your Thoughts, Mister Lincoln"

Oleg Volk

Some comments:

1. "Should have at least double-tapped him to be sure."

2. "And who says actors can't shoot well or make a political difference?"

3. "So, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?"

1 comment:

  1. Sadly, however, Lincoln's type of death removed him from anyone's ability to investigate what he did and how he did it. It did the same thing for men like JFK, RFK and MLK. However, it is noteworthy that it didn't keep Huey Long from being raked over the coals posthumously neither did it increase interest in Garfield and McKinley, two men who frankly had a lot of very dark stuff in their backgrounds and their agendas. Yet, their deaths have relegated them to obscurity rather than placing them in the hierarchy of secular devotion.
