"Remember the promises made after Hurricane Katrina that citizens would never again be subject to gun restrictions and confiscations during such emergencies? Bad news. They lied. On Wednesday, September 1st, North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue signed an Executive Order declaring a State of Emergency in anticipation of Hurricane Earle. In doing so, she suspended the right of state residents to use or carry firearms outside their premises. And yes, violator's guns would be confiscated". MORE.
