Zimmerman was on the ground being punched when he shot Trayvon Martin
Via The Arctic Patriot
Last weekend in the city of Chicago alone, gangbangers slaughtered ten people and wounded another forty. The youngest fatality is only six years old. The youngest person wounded is only one-year-old. Many of the victim were pedestrians sprayed with bullets in drive by shootings. The national news has said nothing about this.
So why does one shooting in Florida warrant weeks of national news? Why has there been thousands of articles a day, for the last four days, about one single shooting?
Almost all of the news items about George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin contains a combination of false statements, opinions presented as facts, transparent distortions, and a complete absence of some of the most relevant details. Almost all news items are written soley from the point of view of the grieving family. The media also fills their articles with outdated baby-faced pictures of Trayvon. Very few include that he was a towering 6'2” football player. Is the media really reporting the news, or is this classic agitation/propaganda to advance a political agenda.
Literally thousands of articles contain at least one false statement in the first couple of lines. They usually read "George ZImmerman, a white man," or "shoot by a white man." Zimmerman is described by family as a multiracial Hispanic. His appearance is clearly that of a Latino/Mestizo individual. However, the media wants him to be white because that better fits the political narrative they are trying to artificially create. Many news articles have also claimed the neighborhood is "mostly white." This is also a lie. The neighborhood is only 49% white. It is over half non-white.

Gay marriage is not a 'human right': European ruling torpedoes Coalition stance
Same-sex marriages are not a human right, European judges have ruled.
Their decision shreds the claim by ministers that gay marriage is a universal human right and that same-sex couples have a right to marry because their mutual commitment is just as strong as that of husbands and wives.
The ruling was made by judges of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg following a case involving a lesbian couple in a civil partnership who complained the French courts would not allow them to adopt a child as a couple.

You already know the good news! Senators John Thune and David Vitter just introduced the Constitutional Carry Reciprocity Act of 2012 – and they already have 30 sponsors and cosponsors.
The Thune-Vitter bill, S. 2213, is important because it would give full reciprocity to all law-abiding gun owners in “constitutional carry” states.
Equally important is the fact that a compromise bill, introduced by anti-gun Senators Mark Begich (D-AK) and Max Baucus (D-MT) primarily for the purpose of maintaining Democratic control of the Senate, has only four sponsors and cosponsors.
But here’s the problem: The House already passed legislation similar to the compromise Begich-Manchin bill.
This should not be a huge problem. The Republican House would accept the pro-gun Thune-Vitter language in a heartbeat.
But it does allow Senators Mark Begich and Joe Manchin to argue for their watered-down bill by pointing to its similarity to the House-passed legislation.
The solution?
House Republicans need to cosponsor the House counterpart to the Thune-Vitter bill, introduced by Congressman Paul Broun of Georgia.
The Broun bill, H.R. 2900, would recognize full reciprocity rights to “constitutional carry” states. Unlike Begich-Manchin, it would not require pro-gun states like Vermont to change their laws in order to take advantage of reciprocity.
A strong show of support for the House bill will let congressional leaders know that grassroots gun owners will not settle for a watered down, compromise bill that will actually undermine efforts at the state level to pass constitutional carry legislation.
ACTION: Contact your Congressman. Ask him or her to cosponsor the Constitutional Carry Reciprocity bill in the House, H.R. 2900.
Outrage as teacher tells pupils to hold a minute's silence for Toulouse terrorist who killed seven because he was 'victim of an unhappy childhood'
An English teacher sparked outrage across France today after calling for her pupils to observe a minute’s silence for Toulouse serial killer Mohammed Merah.
In disturbing scenes at Gustave Flaubert High School in Rouen, Normandy, Lorraine Collin, 56, described the 23-year-old who murdered seven including three children as himself being the ‘victim of an unhappy childhood’.
Luc Chatel, France’s Education Minister, called for Ms Collin to be ‘suspended immediately’, saying he ‘condemned this unspeakable behaviour without reservation’.
Chart: New One Family Homes For Sale in the United States
Two points concerning this graph from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis:
1. At the current rate of decline, there will be zero units for sale before 2015.
2. The shaded areas indicate US recessions. Does this graph look like we are out of recession? Unless the point is that we are out of recession and into a depression.
The West will give Afghanistan $ 40 billion
Western officials told AFP that no final agreements had been reached on funding or on the size of Afghanistan's security forces after combat troops in NATO's US-led International Security Assistance Force withdraw.
But Karzai told a graduation ceremony at a military academy in Kabul: "It's set that post 2014, for the next 10 years until 2024, the international community, with the US in the lead and followed by Europe and other countries, will pay Afghanistan security forces $4.1 billion annually."
