Bill Whittle on The Narrative: The origins of Political Correctness

Re-post

A student at Texas A&M won a competition seeking the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term with this submission:

“Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end”

The North American War Theater: Objectives, Tactics, And Agents of Oppression

Ten Objectives:

1. Consolidate economic, military, and political power in a fascist and authoritarian global government that will strengthen the rule of corporate power over the governments and peoples of America, Canada, and Mexico. This will be a government of, by, and for the 0.1 percent.

2. Create a two-tiered society, where there is no rule of law, and no sense of security for the common citizens.

3. Control and regulate the flow of movement of the general public across the continent so as to regiment society and make it easier for the rulers to dominate their mindless prey.

4. Disarm the American and Canadian people as part of the larger program to pacify pockets of resistance to the illegitimate rule of the regional and global governmental authorities.

5. Destroy the wealth of the middle class, and restratify society. Turn the people into serfs, and keep their attention on day-to-day survival strategies and mindless distractions as opposed to big picture political solutions.

6. Exploit social, class, ethnic, and political divisions for the political benefit of the tyrannical rulers. Weaken the unity of the American people and of American society. Demonize honest wealthy people, rouse anti-rich sentiments with the intent to raise taxes, and promote a class war through the media as a way to create fear, distrust, and disunity.

7. Rewrite the laws of the United States and Canada, and justify the radical changes by using the invented threat of terrorism. Pass nonsensical counter-terrorism legislation with the ultimate goal of creating a new global legal and political order that is authoritarian in nature.

8. Empower the executive at the expense of Congress and Parliament.

9. Turn the planet into a state-sanctioned deity and make the people worship Earth instead of God.

10. Completely destroy the foundations of the American constitutional republic. Guide the motivations and habits of the people, and crush their loyalty to the former republic and its founding fathers.

Ten Tactics:

1. False flag terrorism.

2. Control the credit of the United States.

3. Totalitarian propaganda, mass mind control and political brainwashing.

4. Dumbing down of mainstream culture.

5. Introduction of new state myths and political orthodoxies.

6. Blockading information, and blacking out reality.

7. Divide and conquer: rich vs. poor, minorities vs. white, immigrants vs. non-immigrants.

8. Ridicule the truth about events like the 9/11 attacks and the JFK assassination, and spread smear campaigns to discredit the political opposition. Manipulate language to assassinate the truth and the character of truth-tellers.

9. Rule by executive decree. Use state secrecy to cover up crimes and censor history.

10. Threaten whistleblowers with arrests and death. Threaten pro-constitution activists, peaceful protesters, and regular citizens with torture, kidnappings, arrests, assassinations, and other means of oppression.

Ten Agents of Oppression:

1. The corporate and state media.

2. Educational, legal, and medical establishments.

3. Police and military.

4. Private international banks and fascist transnational corporations.

5. State and private intelligence agencies.

6. Entertainment industry.

7. New police state departments like the TSA and Homeland Security.

8. Paramilitary death squads and corporate mercenaries.

9. State-approved churches and religious establishments.

10. Central planning departments.

Fortunately only the dog was killed.

The headline in yesterday's Minneapolis Star Tribune reads, "Dangerous Dogs are a quandary for police," but the story beneath tells us that "Poorly trained police are a hazard to dogs, their owners, themselves, and three year old girls".

Oh, the story begins well enough for the police, with the tale of an officer who, in safeguarding himself from two dangerous pit bulls, wounded a fellow officer by shooting him in the leg. But there's a buried lede:

The shooting of two dogs during a police raid on April 13, 2011, has led to a civil lawsuit against the city by their owners, James and Aisha Keten.

The couple's three-year-old daughter was eating breakfast at the kitchen table in the Humboldt Avenue North house when police entered the front door on a warrant. As soon as the officers entered the house, they shot and killed one dog, Kano, in the living room, then moments later fired "multiple, hollow-point rounds towards the kitchen table, killing another of the Keten's dogs," Remy, that was lying beneath the table, the suit alleges. The Ketens say neither dog displayed aggression and the bullets passed very close to the 3-year-old.

The officers then restrained James Keten, 28, with plastic zip ties and beat and kicked him in the head, neck and face while he lay on the floor, the suit alleges. After a search of the house, Keten was not arrested or charged with any crime.

The city of Minneapolis denies that its officers kicked James Keten in the head, neck and face, but it admits that Officer Chad Fuchs was aware that a three year old girl was sitting at the table even as he fired multiple, hollow point rounds in her direction.

Zimmerman defense lawyer not new to spotlight

Two videos of his lawyer after the first one and more.

The defense lawyer taking on the most high-profile criminal case in the USA has a low-key demeanor that stands in stark contrast to the national furor surrounding the Trayvon Martin murder case.

And this isn't the first time he has gotten exposure from a murder drawing the country's attention. Mark O'Mara is known to central Florida residents because he appeared often on Orlando television station WKMG as a legal analyst during the trial of Casey Anthony, the Florida mother acquitted in July in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

A tall, reed-like man with a long face and red hair, O'Mara, who is representing George Zimmerman on a second-degree murder charge in the shooting death of Trayvon, sounded relaxed Thursday as he spoke to news reporters and later with CNN.

"He's got a low-key, kind of soft-spoken demeanor and presence, which can be extremely effective in the courtroom," said Wayne Wooten, an assistant state attorney in Orlando, who tried another high-profile case against O'Mara in 2004. "No one should mistake that for a lack of understanding what is happening around him in the courtroom."

O'Mara presents information to a jury "in a soft-spoken manner (and can) almost get people leaning forward, hanging on the words," Wooten said. "He's very intelligent, very thorough and in my mind very strategic in how he evaluates a case."

Obama’s 2012 Campaign Strategy: An Appeal to Ignorance, Envy, and Resentment

Mike Scruggs

In February, President Obama released his 2013 Federal Budget proposal of $3.8 trillion. Last year he proposed a budget of $3.7 trillion, which was defeated 97 to 0 in the Democrat controlled U.S. Senate. Obviously Obama’s budget proposals have nothing to do with reality. They are pure campaign rhetoric. He characterized his 2013 budget as essential to American prosperity and one that “would make or break the middle class.”

President Obama did inherit a budget deficit of $1.3 trillion from President Bush’s last chaotic bailout and stimulus filled year in office—a budget that Obama voted for as a member of the U.S. Senate. Although Obama promised to cut Bush’s deficit in half by the end of his first term, only the rosiest of possible economic outcomes would allow him to have less than a $1.2 trillion dollar budget deficit in 2012. However, he promises another $ 4.0 trillion in budget reductions over the next ten years. At least $1.9 trillion of this reduction is in tax increases. His economic projections include growth rates averaging more than 4.0 percent from 2015 to 2018, equaled only under the pro-business Reagan Administration. This is despite the fact that the Office of Management and Budget has already reduced its growth projections from a ridiculously optimistic 3.6 percent to 2.0 percent for 2012 and is projecting the 2013 growth rate to be only 1.1 percent.

Obama is now pushing for passage of the “Buffett Rule.” This targets so-called millionaires—actually mostly small businesses filing individual returns—to make sure that no household with over a million dollars income in a year would ever pay less than 30 percent in taxes. This is because Warren Buffett, one of the world’s most successful investors pays a lower percent of overall taxes on his income than his highly paid secretary. What Obama and his fellow demagogues fail to reveal is that Buffett’s income is overwhelmingly from capital gains on his investments, with a maximum tax rate of 15 percent. Capital gains and earned income are treated differently in the U.S. tax code to encourage investment. The fact is that most of the people who would be subject to the minimum tax of 30 percent are the very people who generate most new jobs in the country. Obama would also raise the top rate for individuals and small businesses from 35 percent to 39.6 percent.

Obama’s budget also raises corporate tax rates from 35 percent to 39.6 percent. The U.S. already has the highest corporate tax rate in the world, and Canada has just lowered its corporate tax rate to 15 percent. Projecting that these job-killing tax increases on America’s primary job producers could result in 4.0 percent economic growth is beyond the realm of reason. It is unconscionably dishonest campaign rhetoric appealing to ignorance envy, and resentment.

Obama’s plan also calls for death taxes to rise from 35 percent 45 percent—another small business killer. Moreover, he plans to raise another $100 billion from taxes on energy companies—ultimately collected from energy consumers.

Most of Obama’s dishonest promises would not be passed even in a Democrat controlled Senate, but even the rhetoric is enough to strangle business investment. The proposed $500 billion cut in Medicare expenses is probably in the same category. It will never be done, but it is in the budget in some future year that will never really come. It is just a slick way of cutting a budget projection without any intent of cutting anything. Meanwhile, the Obama Administration and the Democrat held Senate are operating without any real budget restraints except the Federal Debt Ceiling, which—accompanied by deceitful scare tactics about cutting off the military payroll and social security checks—keeps being increased on an emergency basis.

Even including Obama’s phony budget cuts and $1.9 trillion in job-killing taxes, the U.S. debt will increase from the current $15 trillion to $21.7 trillion in 2022. However, if interest rates rise to the market levels of 2000 from their present Federal Reserve suppressed rates, we will see the national debt exceed $26 trillion in 2017—a mere five years away.

An even more serious concern is that speech after speech indicates that the President will say almost anything to win the election, and the vast majority of the mainstream media will ignore his outrageous stream of deception. Obama is also an extraordinarily adept chameleon. The color and tone of his rhetoric change dramatically with his audience. Many people say he is very likable personally, but I find it hard to like people who consistently deceive others about important things. Perhaps he is completely ignorant in economics, basic mathematics, and logic, but I fear that the biggest problem is that he has no regard for truth. He misleads and deceives eloquently but without conscience. A major theme of his election campaign will be class warfare—an appeal to ignorance, envy, and resentment.

According to a recent Newsweek poll, 72 percent of whites and 89 percent of blacks say the nation is divided along racial lines. Majorities on both sides of this racial polling think things are getting worse. Let the readers decide for themselves in the coming months whether the Obama reelection team is not stoking the flames of class warfare and racial sensitivities to obscure his abysmal policy failures and radical economic and social agendas.

Eric Holder Silent on New Black Panthers' Racial Discord

Not that we are surprised.

Via Don

The Trayvon Martin Case is the latest in a long list of incidents into which the New Black Panther Party has injected itself, but nothing has measured up to its latest tactics, which include placing a bounty on George Zimmerman’s head with the qualifier "dead or alive."

It would seems to the most independent of observers that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, in his refusal to condemn this murder of hire scandal, approves the placement of bounties by private citizens on other private citizens. One would not have to wonder, if this had been a group of Americans connected with the Tea Party Movement offering up a bounty on a private citizen, what the reaction of the Justice Department would be.

From the very start of the Obama Administration, it has seemed that Mr. Holder believes and believes in giving a great deal of latitude to the New Black Panther Party, as his department refused to entertain the very thought of prosecuting two members of the Party on charges of voter intimidation after they were video-taped by independent observers standing outside a Philadelphia polling place with billy clubs in hand. One would not need to wonder what Mr. Holder actions would be if a black voter called the Department of Justice and reported an empty police car sitting alongside the road leading to a polling place in Florida; there would be calls for him to launch investigations into voter intimidation from political and media figures.
