Get your lawyers on speed dial, because we are about to cause chaos for the Department of Youth and Family Services.

In recent news headlines, you’ve seen where a New Jersey family had the DYFS called on them because of a photo the father posted with his son and a gun on FaceBook.  The department and a couple of policemen, who were wearing bullet proof vests, entered the home with the intention to search the premises for unlawful guns (in NJ it is not required to register your guns).

Well, thankfully the father was a quick thinker and got his lawyer on the phone with the home invaders and got the department and policemen out of there fast.

To show our support for this family and our distaste for the government officials’ unlawful behavior during this event, I would like you Girls Just Wanna Have Guns insiders to submit a photo of your child or grandchild with a firearm of their choice.

We will post the photos up on the website for everyone to see and hopefully send this message to the Department of Youth and Family Services:  if they want to pick on one of us, they’re going to have to pick on all of us.

Joe Biden says Gabby Giffords was “mortally wounded”

He should have gone into comedy.

Someone get Joe Biden a dictionary.

According to the Vice President, former Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords was “mortally wounded.”

“Think about what happened out in — when Gabby Giffords, my good friend, was shot and mortally wounded,” Biden said during a gun control press conference on Thursday morning.

Biden held the press conference with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, as well as family members of shooting victims. The group was pushing for what they call “common sense” gun control legislation.

Bloomberg argued that all Americans support President Obama’s gun control proposals.
“There’s no real debate among the American people,” he said.

Bloomberg and Biden should probably get their facts straight. There is an intense gun rights debate currently raging in the United States. And, Joe — Giffords didn’t die.

Senate Democrats pass $1 trillion in new taxes

 

An exhausted Senate gave pre-dawn approval Saturday to a Democratic $3.7 trillion budget for next year that embraces nearly $1 trillion in tax increases over the coming decade but shelters domestic programs targeted for cuts by House Republicans.

While their victory was by a razor-thin 50-49, the vote let Democrats tout their priorities. Yet it doesn’t resolve the deep differences the two parties have over deficits and the size of government.
Joining all Republicans voting no were four Democrats who face re-election next year in potentially difficult races: Sens. Max Baucus of Montana, Mark Begich of Alaska, Kay Hagan of North Carolina and Mark Pryor of Arkansas. Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., did not vote

Biden Stays at London, Paris Hotels; Two Nights, $1 Million

 

Vice President Joe Biden’s one-day trips to Paris and London in February cost American taxpayers more than $1 million, according to multiple reports.

Biden and his security detail rung up a $585,000.50 tab for a single night on Feb. 4 at the Hotel Intercontinental Paris Le Grand, a luxurious five-star hotel near the Louvre Museum, The Weekly Standard reports.

Meanwhile, The Daily Mail in London reports that Biden’s group spent $459,388.65 for one night on Feb. 5 at the Hyatt Regency in London, where the vice president met with Prime Minister David Cameron.

The contract for the London trip specified that Biden’s crew required 136 hotel rooms for that one-night stay, The Daily Mail reports.

ECB Enacts Capital Controls, Cypriot Savings Accounts Will Remain Frozen When (if) Banks Reopen!

Germany’s Handelsblatt reports early Friday that the ECB has informed Cypriot authorities that due to a guaranteed epic bank run of their own making that will undoubtedly begin the moment Cyprus’ banks re-open, the ECB intends to enact capital controls when (if) the Cypriot banking system re-opens next week, and that the ECB intends to enforce the capital controls unilaterally!

Handelsblatt claims Cypriot Central Bank sources have stated that the ECB intends to freeze all Cypriot savings accounts indefinitely, greatly reduce the maximum amounts of ATM withdrawals, and will require Central Bank approval for all bank transfers!

 This is sure to re-instill confidence in the banking system among Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy and the rest of the Eurozone!

If the Handelsblatt report proves true, forget 3%, 7%, 13%, or 40% haircuts…..ALL YOUR FIATS BELONG TO US!!!!

Two teen suspects arrested in shooting death of Georgia baby

Two teenage suspects were arrested in a small coastal Georgia city a day after a baby was killed and his mom shot, authorities said Friday.

The mother, Sherry West, told FOX affiliate WAWS-TV that she was pushing her 13-month-old son, Antonio, in his stroller in Brunswick, Ga., Thursday morning, when two boys – described as about 10 and 15 years old – came up, demanded money and shot them.

Brunswick police announced Friday afternoon that they had arrested a 17-year-old and a 14-year-old, and that they were charging them with murder. The arrests came after SWAT teams had gone door to door, searching for clues, and police had checked local school attendance and absentee lists to see if there were any students who hadn't been at school that fit the description of the suspects.

West told WAWS-TV that the older boy pointed a handgun at her during the encounter Thursday."He said, 'I'm gonna kill you if you don't give me your money,' and I said, 'I swear I don't have any,'" she told WAWS-TV of the encounter. She said they wouldn't accept no for an answer."He says, 'Well, I'm gonna kill your baby,'" she told WAWS-TV, crying. "I put my arms over my baby and he shoves me. 

And then he shot my baby right in the head."

A Once Great Nation

 

A lawless government breeds a lawless public.

I don't know when the apple turns, it has for me already. I feel bound by no laws the federal government has passed through its sham of a legislature. I regard them as laws passed in commission of a fraud. To whatever extent I obey a federal law it is within my understanding of rightful liberty.

Civility is not a legal thing, it is a social thing. One might pass all the hate-speech laws they wish, it does not change the heart wherein lies the hate. The speech one uses is a reflection of the inner self and to pass laws against speech is to pass laws against emotion, against expression, against the privacy of one's skull.

To pass laws against possession of guns will not stop violence, it will not stop possession, it will only escalate the encounter between police and otherwise law-abiding citizens. It will indeed make outlaws of those who possess guns.

These laws are laws passed by a government estranged from the people; a government peering down at the masses concerned mostly with control of those masses, not working in conjunction with the people to find that elusive, necessary balance between liberty and security.
