2010, HHS received authority to make 1,814 new hires

White House spokesman jokes about Islamic attacks on Christian churches in Egypt
The White House’s deputy press secretary today downplayed Muslim attacks on Christians in Egypt, joking about the savagery that has left at least six Christians dead.
Press secretary Josh Earnest was asked by Fox News’ correspondent, Ed Henry, if President Barack Obama has a “red line” beyond which he would act against Muslim attacks on Egyptian Christians.
“Well, I didn’t bring my red pen out with me today,” Earnest joked.

Judge warns Obama on 'worthless' race complaints
A federal judge has described Obama administration claims that corporations use background checks to target blacks “worthless,” describing the allegations from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as a “theory in search of facts” as he granted a motion for summary judgment, which is an immediate dismissal of the case.
“There are simply no facts here to support a theory of disparate impact resulting from any identified, specific practice of the defendant,” wrote Judge Roger W. Titus in the case brought by the Obama administration against Freeman Inc., a company that provides services for expositions, conventions, corporate events, meetings and programs.
The EEOC alleged that the company, by checking the backgrounds of prospective employees, was illegally discriminating against blacks. But the Obama administration failed to provide any evidence of that, the judge ruled.

A Christian school in Arkansas has a warning for would-be attackers: be prepared to meet your Maker if you try to harm their students.
“Staff is armed and trained,” reads a sign posted outside the Arkansas Christian Academy in Bryant, Ark. “Any attempt to harm our children will be met with deadly force.”
School administrator Perry Black told Fox News the “purpose of the sign is to prevent us from ever having to use any kind of force.”
“We have a moral obligation to protect those children in our care and we’re dedicated to doing that with whatever means are necessary,” he said. “I’d rather be in the news for having a sign than having a tragedy.”

Don’t Ignore Race in Christopher Lane’s Murder: The association of young black men with violence doesn't come out of thin air
Via WiscoDave
EAST CENTRAL UNIVERSITY / HANDOUT
Christopher Lane
Australian Christopher Lane was killed on Monday in Oklahoma by three teens, one of whom has said they were just “bored.” The right is complaining
that the media is making nothing of the fact that two of the teens were
black whereas Lane was white, as opposed to the massive alarm sounded
in cases such as white (or white-ish) George Zimmerman killing black
Trayvon Martin. And again the cry was heard that there is more
“black-on-black” or “black-on-white” crime than “white-on-black,” and
that young black men are in fact more of a problem than people like
Zimmerman.
The numbers don’t lie: young black men do commit about 50% of the murders in the U.S. We
don’t yet know whether the attack on Lane was racially motivated, nor
can we know whether the three black boys who attacked a white boy on a
Florida school bus recently would not have done the same to a black kid.
(Critics took Al
Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to task for not condemning the violence.)
But hardly uncommon are cases such as the two black guys who doused a white 13-year-old with gasoline and lit him on fire, saying “You get what you deserve, white boy” (Kansas City, Mo.) or 20 black kids who beat up white Matthew Owens on his porch “for Trayvon” (Mobile, Ala.).

Uncategorized Information Operations, Part Three: Operational Security
Administrivia: I’ve posted dates for the next ICAC on the Training page. We have a few seats left for those so inclined.
Poor Operations Security (OPSEC) leads to mission failure. We cover OPSEC in pretty good detail in the ICAC, and this is a decent recap. Because good OPSEC is going to be critical to any mission set or activities, I feel the need to cover it here. Also, keep in mind that when I say “post-SHTF” I mean it in both the prepper and resistance sense.
Compartmentalization.
Cleaning supplies go under the sink. Canned goods go into the pantry. Cups and dishes go into the cupboard. All these items reside in the kitchen, but each type of product has its place. Alternatively, we’ve all heard the idiom, “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.” This is compartmentalization.
Similarly, if pieces of information are our kitchen products then we put them, too, in their proper places. All the information resides within the ACE (or maybe within the members of the ACE team), but not every individual knows everything. In the military and intelligence communities, it’s called “need to know.” If you don’t ‘need to know’ then you don’t know (or shouldn’t know).

Households Earning Less Income Than When Recession Ended
The average American household is earning less than when the Great Recession ended four years ago, according to a new report.
U.S. median household income, once adjusted for inflation, has fallen 4.4 percent in that time, according to the report from Sentier Research, an Annapolis data-analysis firm headed by two former Census Bureau officials.
The report is based on an analysis of Census Bureau data. Economists view median, or midpoint, income as a key marker for the well-being of the nation’s middle class.
Although U.S. average income has been recovering from its recent low point in August 2011, it remains 6.1 percent below where it stood when the country plunged into recession in December 2007, The Washington Post reported.

This Homeland Security Employee Is Preparing for a Coming Race War
Via WiscoDave
A Department of Homeland Security employee who works on, among other
things, the procurement of guns and ammunition for U.S. Immigration and
Customs Enforcement, spends his nights and weekends preparing for a
coming race war and advocating for anti-gay causes, according to a new
report from the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Meet Ayo Kimathi, a.k.a. “the Irritated Genie," who told his bosses at
the DHS that his anti-white, anti-gay site, "War is on the Horizon," was
just an entertainment site that sells concert and lecture videos.
You see, DHS employees, even those with office jobs like Kimathi's, have to get outside activities approved by their supervisors, according to the SPLC. Kimathi's former supervisor told the watchdog group, which tracks hate speech and groups in the U.S., that despite her former employee's banal description of his extracurricular activities, the actual content of the site left her "stunned." She continued: “To see the hate, to know that he is a federal employee, it bothered me." She added that had Kimathi's site been accurately described to the agency, there's no way the DHS would have signed off on it. Possibly to keep his bosses from looking up his work, Kimathi used only the site's acronym, WOH, in his permission request. In addition to his involvement in the purchase of ICE supplies, Kimathi also had a public profile for the agency, speaking at vendor events. As "Irritated Genie," Kimathi also has a public profile as a black supremacist advocate.

Comment by Anonymous on Remembering Ruby Ridge

I was at a meeting a few months ago where our local sheriff was talking about gun control and trying to "calm folks down" telling us the government had no intent to take our guns. Someone said "tell Randy Weaver that". The sheriff got a blank look on his face. He didn't have a clue who Randy Weaver was
