Violent MS-13 Gang Members Leave Graffiti on Bathroom Walls of Nogales Border Patrol Processing Center + +

An internal Border Patrol executive summary obtained by Townhall confirms that at least 16 unaccompanied illegal minors (those under the age of 18, according to U.S. government policy), are members of the brutal El Salvadorian street gang Mara Salvatrucha—or MS-13.

Gang members left graffiti on the walls of the Nogales Border Patrol processing center, which suggested they had ties to the organization.

A GOOD KID WITH A GUN: Teen Saves Mother From Attacker In Tennessee

Police were close enough to hear the gunfire, but not close enough to make a difference.

A Tennessee man attempted to break into his ex-girlfriend’s home this past Sunday in an apparent attempt at a murder-suicide that would have left three children without a mother, if it had been successful.

Disgraceful.

Washington and Lee University will remove Confederate flags from its Lee Chapel after a group of black students led protests arguing that the Virginia school was unwelcoming to minorities.

President Kenneth P. Ruscio’s announcement Tuesday likely will reverberate among many of the school’s students and alumni who revere the Lexington university’s southern heritage.

North Carolina Legal Australian Immigrant Fights for Right to Carry

Via Michael via NC Renegade

Dean Weingarten

The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) is supporting the case of a legal Australian immigrant in North Carolina.

This test case will likely result in the removal of the restriction on the issuance of a concealed carry permit to people who are not U. S. citizens in North Carolina law.

SAF won a similar case in New Mexico at the end of March of this year.  In the New Mexico case, Alan M. Gottlieb stated one of the purposes of this action.    From the Washington Times:
Alan M. Gottlieb, executive vice president of the foundation, said the discrimination ruling makes it increasingly difficult for gun control advocates to chip away at gun rights.
“It helps build case law,” he said. “If legal aliens have rights, citizens obviously do, too.”

Obama Gives Murrieta Area ICE Agents Stand Down Order: Cloward and Piven strategy in full swing?

Source: Obama Gives Murrieta Area ICE Agents Stand Down Order

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement employee claims that the Obama administration has handed a number of ICE agents in the Murrieta/LA area paid temporary leave, a move that will exacerbate the mass influx of illegal immigrants into the region.

Liberty News’ Eric Odom, who is currently on the scene in the flashpoint town of Murrieta, says an ICE employee who lives in Orange County told him, “the Obama administration has furloughed Murrieta/LA area ICE agents full time until further notice,” but that the agents would continue to receive full pay.

“One would think any ICE agents still being paid full time would be deployed to actually assist the U.S. in its fight against Obama’s foreign invasion of the interior United States. Especially in light of the controversially fight between the federal government and the citizens of Murrieta,” writes Odom, noting that the move weakens American security without even saving any money.

Rick Perry Refuses Obama's Offer For A Tarmac Handshake

Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) won't be on hand to greet President Barack Obama when Air Force One lands in Austin on Wednesday.

The governor's office says the White House extended an invitation to Perry to meet Obama on the tarmac when he arrives for Democratic fundraisers in Dallas and Austin. However, Perry refused the offer, asking instead to meet with Obama in private to discuss the high number of unaccompanied children arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border in recent months.

“I appreciate the offer to greet you at Austin-Bergstrom Airport, but a quick handshake on the tarmac will not allow for a thoughtful discussion regarding the humanitarian and national security crises enveloping the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas,” Perry wrote Monday in a letter to the president. “I would instead offer to meet with you at any time during your visit to Texas for a substantive meeting to discuss this critical issue.”

The Texas governor has been a vocal critic of the president's handling of the situation at the border, repeatedly suggesting that the administration is "in on this somehow."

"I have to believe that when you do not respond in any way, that you are either inept, or you have some ulterior motive of which you are functioning from," Perry said during a Sunday appearance on ABC's "This Week."

More Than Half of Central American Immigrants on Welfare

Via Billy

More than half of legal and illegal immigrant households from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras are on at least one form of public assistance, according to an analysis of government data by a limited immigration group.

Based on the Census Bureau’s March 2013 Current Population Survey, the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) reports that most legal and illegal immigrant heads of households from these three countries received benefits from at least one major benefit program like Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), food stamps (SNAP), free/reduced lunch, public/subsidized housing, and/or Medicaid.

Some 57 percent of households headed by an El Salvadoran used one such major welfare program, as did 54 percent of Honduran households and 49 percent of Guatemalan households. By comparison, 24 percent of households headed by a native-born American used at least one of these programs.
