Sessions Embraces ‘Nativist’ Slur: What’s Wrong with Favoring Americans?

Via Billy

Jeff Sessions smiling AFP

Alabama’s Sen. Jeff Sessions (is pro-American, and he doesn’t care if he’s called a “nativist” by post-national advocates for massive immigration.

“What’s wrong with that? … What’s wrong with putting America[ns] first?” he told a reporter for Roll Call, which published an article headlined as “Sessions Feels Vindicated by [Donald] Trump’s Nativist Surge.”

Sessions’ focus, however, isn’t on just the people born in the United States. He’s looking beyond ancestry and birthplace to include immigrants and their kids who’ve been welcomed legally into the United States. “We [politicians] represent the people who voted for us. That’s who our duty is owed to. To them…we should be doing what’s in their best interest,” he stated.

The mere existence of the would-be “nativist” slur shows the deep contempt that internationalists have for ordinary Americans, said a Hill staffer. “It should go without saying that the country exists to serve the interests of its citizens… so that fact that we have the [sneering] term ‘nativist’ implies that some people think the citizens shouldn’t have that priority,” the staffer said.

Karl Rove is Smiling – Things Are Going Exactly As Planned…

 GOP-versus-Tea-Party

Within three weeks following the Fox News debate, and amid the reality of a surging Donald Trump, an email arrives from the RNC looking for a $3 donation.  The hook was promising entry into a contest to win tickets to the Colorado Debate.

I’m sure that 99% of the targeted recipients viewed this solicitation as innocuous, just another gimmicky political stunt.  However, for those -like us- watching carefully this email request held additional meaning.

♦ The first flag was the “sender”, it wasn’t a traditional participant in the RNC apparatus, it was actually signed by Karl Rove; when did Karl Rove become an official member inside the RNC apparatus?

♦ Secondly, Karl Rove was in Colorado two days earlier (fox news satellite appearance on Sean Hannity Fox Broadcast from Colorado).  ♦ Third, within 72 hours of the email, Colorado announced cancellation of their primary caucus:

Dear Donald Trump,

You have run a near-flawless campaign.

At every turn, your originality and unpredictability have outsmarted the most highly touted minds in the political world today. Every time they count you out, you gain 10 more points in the polls. It is, as you yourself might say, a-MAAAAAAAAZ-ing.

You have done all of this using a refreshingly simple, straight-forward strategy. You know what you want to say, you say it plainly and forcefully and then you stick with it.

Such commitment, of course, is heresy in this sleazy world of liars where nobody says anything and if they ever slip up and accidentally speak forthrightly, the next step is to retract the statement. Then they check into rehab and blame it on booze or the pills.

Even in the cases where you have said things inartfully or things you simply should not have said, you had the decency to stick with them and move on without apology. In this era of constant-apology porn, that is refreshing.

Your sense of where voters stand on the most important issues of the day is without peer.

Your quick analysis of illegal immigration is like a life raft for a country quickly losing all last hopes.

One of my favorite political instincts of yours is your primal ability to sense weakness in your enemy and then strike fast with absolute precision and savage ferocity.

If Americans watch NASCAR for the fiery crashes, we now watch political debates for the Donald Trump take-downs of politicians. We love them because they articulate the deep-felt thoughts and frustrations of millions.

Which brings me to the one thing you must change about your campaign:

WHAT MEDIA BIAS? USA Today Headline Asks: “If Donald Trump Wins, What Country Would You Flee to?”

usa trump wins

It’s hard to imagine a national news outlet like USA Today asking this question about Obama in 2008, isn’t it? That’s because it never would have happened. Even today, substitute Trump’s name with Hillary in the headline below and you’ll hear cries of sexism from the left.

Yet somehow, this is acceptable…

A pastor’s quick thinking saved lives on Sunday when a self-described “man of Islam” entered a Texas church and declared he was ready to “slay infidels.”

John Johnson III of the Corinth Missionary Baptist church in Bullard, Texas, came face-to-face with Rasheed Abdul Aziz, 40, after morning services Sept. 13.

Aziz was wielding a handgun and wearing camouflage pants, a tactical vest, combat boots and a helmet when he allegedly said, “People are going to die today,” KLTV-7 reported Monday.

“Immediately my mind went to the fact that I knew we had several children and young members that were playing and running in the fellowship hall, I mouthed to them, ‘This man has a weapon, I need you guys to go,’” Johnson, 45, told the station.

Johnson, a former parole officer who works with troubled teens and is trained to diffuse verbal altercations, told the Tyler Morning Telegraph on Tuesday his instincts took over in his church’s conference room. The whole exchange took roughly five minutes.

“Like clockwork, it kicked in,” he told the newspaper.

(Source: Tarrant Police)

The man police say held a family hostage at gunpoint for five hours and raped a teenage girl is in jail after five days on the run.

Tarrant Police Chief Dennis Reno is sounding off. He's angry because the suspect is a repeat offender who he says should not have been a free man.

21-year-old Montavious Banks was considered armed and dangerous by police and a known gang member.

Last week, a sketch was released of Montavious Banks, who also used the last name Burrows, after he allegedly committed an armed home invasion and rape in Tarrant.

"We've been after this suspect since last Thursday on a home invasion we had here,“ said Chief Reno. “Where he raped an 18-year-old female and held the rest of the family hostage."

Chief Reno says Banks was wanted on 13 felony warrants on charges of rape, sodomy, robbery and kidnapping.

NC Police Chief Forced Out After Bashing #BlackLivesMatter “Terrorist Group”

Mike Halstead WXII

 They can't handle the truth.

Former Surf City, North Carolina police Chief Mike Halstead spoke out after after he was forced to resign Tuesday following a political backlash against his September 3 post on Facebook harshly criticizing the Black Lives Matter movement. Halstead called the movement an “American born terrorist group”.

Chief Halstead was a thirty-five year police veteran who had served the Surf City Police Department for thirteen years.

WECT-TV reported on Chief Halstead’s follow-up post to Facebook Tuesday evening.

“”I want to thank you all for your support. I was forced to retire or be terminated. I had to beg for a 60 day severance to feed my family. That was the thanks I got from those I thought were family, I was thrown under the bus for expressing my 1st amendment rights and speaking the truth and concerns for law enforcement. I want to thank all of the folks in Surf City for your support.
It was my pleasure to serve you. Thank you to my officers for your dedication, I will miss everyone of you. I would like to apologize to my family for letting you down. I also apologize to those I have offended, that was not my intent. I have served proudly for 35 years without a blemish. I guess to some Surf City Leaders that has no meaning. I guess I will learn to eat beanie wienies for a few months. I love you all.””
