A pastor’s quick thinking saved lives on Sunday when a self-described “man of Islam” entered a Texas church and declared he was ready to “slay infidels.”

John Johnson III of the Corinth Missionary Baptist church in Bullard, Texas, came face-to-face with Rasheed Abdul Aziz, 40, after morning services Sept. 13.

Aziz was wielding a handgun and wearing camouflage pants, a tactical vest, combat boots and a helmet when he allegedly said, “People are going to die today,” KLTV-7 reported Monday.

“Immediately my mind went to the fact that I knew we had several children and young members that were playing and running in the fellowship hall, I mouthed to them, ‘This man has a weapon, I need you guys to go,’” Johnson, 45, told the station.

Johnson, a former parole officer who works with troubled teens and is trained to diffuse verbal altercations, told the Tyler Morning Telegraph on Tuesday his instincts took over in his church’s conference room. The whole exchange took roughly five minutes.

“Like clockwork, it kicked in,” he told the newspaper.

  1. Not a peep about this on the MSM. Probably because it flies in the face of their falsities regarding the supposed "religion of peace". You could bet every last cent you had on the fact that if this was a loonie going into a mosque it would be on nonstop rotation on every outlet.
Bravo to the pastor for his bravery. Ultimately this battle is a spiritual one, and a very visible one between the powers of darkness and the Spirit of God. Too bad many "christians" are that in name only, and are asleep and ineffective in this conflict, unwilling and unable to take a stand.

  2. Did you see this one that Media also failed to report "fully" the details of the homemade clock?

  3. "The caller stated that a black male, wearing a camouflage helmet, camo pants, tactical vest and boots, entered the church with what appeared to be a pistol in his pocket."
Interesting. Is he "black", and perhaps converted in prison, or is is an actual "Arab" Muslim. He has an extensive criminal history, it says, but I can't find much other info...
