Parkland Gun Control Activists Driving Americans Toward 2nd Amendment
As Parkland gun control activists and their surrogates mock the idea of arming teachers, march for gun bans in D.C., and call for new gun controls via Twitter, they risk driving Americans toward the Second Amendment instead of away from it.
They run this risk via their in-your-face gun control hubris, especially when that hubris is directed toward docile actors. For example, on Monday Rep. Steve King (R-IA) addressed Parkland students who want to raise the minimum age for gun purchases by asking, “If you are a teenager & believe you won’t be responsible enough to own a gun until 21, why should you vote before 21?” That is a reasonable question when one considers that voting and owning guns are both constitutional rights. Yet the responses to his question varied between things too vulgar to print and pronouncements that his political career is over–that he is a pawn of the NRA and is going to be voted out office

The taxpayer-funded university is already facing two federal lawsuits alleging bias against conservatives.
“It’s a scary thing on campuses today,” the state lawmaker told Starnes.
He went on to say that some students were forced “as a condition of their grades to confess their white privilege in a video.”
Georgia lawmakers are investigating what they call
systematic bias against conservative and Christian students at Kennesaw
State University.
“They are threatened. They are
retaliated against all because of their viewpoint,” State. Rep. Earl
Ehrhart said Wednesday on the Todd Starnes Radio Show.

Former CIA Director John Brennan, seen here, briefed then-Sen. Harry
Reid, D-Nev., two days before the Democratic leader wrote a letter to
Comey
Newly uncovered text messages between FBI officials
Peter Strzok and Lisa Page suggest a possible coordination between
high-ranking officials at the Obama White House, CIA, FBI, Justice
Department and former Senate Democratic leadership in the early stages
of the investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign
and Russia, according to GOP congressional investigators on Wednesday.
The investigators say the information
provided to Fox News “strongly” suggests coordination between former
President Barack Obama’s Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, then-Senate
Democratic Leader Harry Reid, and CIA Director John Brennan — which they
say would “contradict” the Obama administration’s public stance about
its hand in the process.

The supervisor of Orange County, California said Wednesday she was recently called a "racist b----" amid her county's push to opt out of the state's sanctuary designation.
Michelle Steel, a legal immigrant from South Korea, voted in support of the move, which she says was voted in favor of unanimously.
Steel said it was the first time she was called a "racist."
She noted English is her third language, behind Korean and Japanese.
"In Asia, when you get called all different names, you live longer. So I think I will live a long life," she said.
