Early Voter Turnout Surges As Republicans Hold Lead In Battleground States

 Trump
...one major poll - Rasmussen - is calling for Republicans to retain control of the House and Senate. This is significant because Rasmussen was the only shop to accurately forecast Trump's upset win in 2016

As voters prepare to head to the polls and the number of Americans casting early ballots surges, election analysts will likely focus on one question: Will the Democratic "blue wave" be powerful enough to reverse the early leads wracked up by Republicans in seven out of eight key battleground states? So far, enthusiasm levels among both Democrats and Republicans have climbed to historic levels, complicating the efforts of forecasters and throwing the forecasting orthodoxy - the notion that Republicans will pick up Senate seats while Democrats wrest back control of the House - into doubt with the polls set to open across the US in 24 hours.

According to Bloomberg, some 34 million people have already voted in the 2018 midterms, and, in at least 28 states and the District of Columbia, early voter tallies have already surpassed their totals from the 2014 midterms.

In Texas alone, where Ted Cruz is defending his seat from Democratic challenger Beto O'Rourke, more than 4.5 million people have already voted. That momentum has apparently carried over from the record turnout during primaries and special elections this year. "People are engaged and voting in this election," said University of Florida professor Michael McDonald.
But in what may be an ominous sign for the left, while Democrats are boasting a narrow lead over Republicans nationally, Republicans are leading in the key swing states, including Arizona and Florida

The Guardian Goes Off The Deep End

 Brock,

I am seeing red from that Guardian article today. So  much garbage and where to begin. Then, I remembered this article I excerpted from Unz Review by Ilana Mercer. The whole thing is worth a read but I sent you this condensed version which I will include in my church newsletter in the future.
Thanks for all you do.

Modern-day Americans... don’t share the same core values, morals or mannerisms. We don’t revere the same heroes. We tear down other countrymen’s historic monuments...We display different regalia.

Our attachment to one language, English, is tenuous at best, and waning. Surveys suggest Americans today would rather avoid one another... what unites us most is our passion for, and patterns of, consumption. America is an economy, not a nation. Unite we... do over the state of our sovereign debt ... But not over what it means to be a sovereign people. For half the country, sovereignty entails hordes of defiant scofflaws breaking the border. For the other half, sovereignty means borders. (And some respite, maybe even a moratorium on the incessant influx.) People become rightfully resentful of others when forced into relationships against their will. Signs of the attendant, endemic civil unrest are already evident. Don’t knock the cliché. Good fences (or walls) do indeed make good neighbors, within countries and between them. A sense of security and sovereignty are essential to the health of individuals and nations alike. Developmental health in kids is predicated on respecting their bodies and their boundaries. Wait a sec: Kids need boundaries but the communities in which they reside don’t? Why do boundaries or borders become cardinal (racist) sins when staked out by communities?

And why is trespass a praiseworthy creed? A peaceful society is one founded on voluntary associations, not forced integration. By extension, if the Christian pastry man doesn’t care to bake a cake for a gay wedding; leave him be... Where’s the morality and munificence in compelling a service from an unwilling service provider?... People are harming nobody when they withhold their wares. It’s their right. The baker owns his labor and his property. Leave him alone. Currently, our overlords in Deep State D.C. insist that because we’re so rich and innately mean, they should decide what to do with the lion’s share of our earnings (including to distribute it to the world.) No need. Americans are terribly generous—and most generous when left to choose their charities. We are most generous to strangers in need when they, in return, don’t encroach on our space, and respect the natural rights we have in our person and property... An uneasy co-existence, not coerced unity, is the only hope for calm in our country. Respectful disunity is the only way forward.

Altiero Spinelli and the Communist Origins of the European Union

Via David

Altiero Spinelli, Trotskyite, the new ‘father’ of the EU, in 1984

When I was a teenager in England during the 1960s, supporters of Josef Stalin were rare even among the “reddest” of leftists in the Labour Party. Leninists were more common, but the most frequently encountered Reds were supporters of Lev Bronstein, a.k.a. Leon Trotsky. Because Trotsky had been exiled and later murdered by Stalin, he had become the beloved underdog of Communism. The “Trotsky good, Stalin bad” meme was the way the Left maneuvered around the “excesses” of Stalinism — if only Comrade Trotsky had become General Secretary of the Party, what a different place the USSR would have been!

Rebecca Solnit c/o The Guardian,

Your anti-Confederate rant is typical of the Marxist indoctrinated crowd who think they know it all about our history, but actually know almost nothing. You communists, and that’s what you are, have been brainwashed with 150+ years of Marxist rewritten lies, half-truths, and propaganda. There are too many false and idiotic statements in your column to address them all, so I will attempt to address only a few.

1)      Segregation – This was initiated by the Yankees during Reconstruction.  The North was segregated way before the South was. Before Lincoln’s illegal war, the South was NOT segregated, but the high-toned, know-it-all North was. They forced this upon the South during their twelve year military occupation.

2)      Jim Crow Laws – Again, this was initiated in the North, NOT the South. The South, of course, gets the blame for it, just as it does for slavery, which was practiced in the North as well, and the New England Yankees were the ones who built the slave ships and traded goods for already captured slaves in Africa and brought them to the U.S. and sold them to BOTH Northerners and Southerners.

3)      KKK – The original KKK, formed during the horrors of Reconstruction, was formed to defend both blacks and whites from the terror and murder of the Union League which killed those who would not vote for the Radical Republicans. It was disbanded in the early 1870s.  The KKK which you, and many other ignorant people identify, formed in the early 1900s is not the same Klan, and was even mimicked by fraudulent “Klansmen” who did horrific deeds in order to bring negative attention to the Klan.

Stone Mountain and the “Monument Man”

When National Socialism came to power in Germany in 1933, it sought an ethnic and cultural cleansing of the country. Jewish culture and art was not considered fully human and underwent a purge. Once Nazi Germany started World War II in 1939, it also sought the same purge for all of Europe. Art considered Germanic was confiscated from all over Europe and brought to Germany.

Adolf Hitler planned to create a massive museum in his home town of Linz, Austria, the Furermuseum, which he envisioned to become the cultural center of Europe

Two Things

For some reason my commenting doesn't work any more - even on my own blog - so I have asked Brock to put this up  as a free-standing post on his blog.

There is no question there are Jews in the one-world, no-borders movement. Some, having money, are helping to finance it (e.g., *hawk spit* George Soros - who is, by birth, Jewish but follows no Judaism I've ever known).

Others like Barbara Spectre Lerner are also sickening, not just for their view but for the fuel they've given to people to power their Jew-hatred. Please see:

G-d Damn You Barbara Spectre!

There are also non-Jews aplenty. Like this civilizational traitor who sees, who cannot NOT see, the harm being done but doubles down:

Homage to the Hounds

The children owned a pretty little pet, a grey hound . . . Gathering up a stone, one of the soldiers watched his moment, and approaching the group where they were at play, suddenly dashed out the brains of the little dog, at the very feet of the children.”
--William Gilmore Simms, Columbia, South Carolina, 1865

“We were determined that no dogs should escape, be it a cur, a rat dog, or bloodhound; we exterminated all. The dogs are easily killed. All we had to do was bayonet them.”
--Col. Oscar Jackson, Sixty-third Ohio Volunteers, 7 March 1865

“It was pitiful to see the poor, half-starved cur go up to the men with almost melancholy countenance, as much to say: “I have seen better days but now am starving. Just let me go along, and I will be a good, dutiful dog.” Sometimes he gets a kick or a bullet for his confidence . . . As for the general run of these animals, they were relentlessly shot down.”
--David Conyngham, reporter, New York Herald, February 1865

 Homage to the Hounds

“You suffered too.

It was war on dogs as well –

On every living thing it seems:

Ages of mutual friendship

All are betrayed

In one fire-breathing

Dragon day.”

Poll: Republican Matt Rosendale Takes 11th-Hour Lead in Montana over Democrat Jon Tester

Collage of Jon Tester and Matt Rosendale

State auditor and Republican Senate nominee Matt Rosendale has taken an 11th-hour lead in Montana over Democrat Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT), surging ahead of the Democrat in the wake of President Donald Trump’s latest rally there on Saturday.

A Change Research poll released late Sunday evening shows Rosendale, at 49 percent, leading Tester’s 46 percent. Libertarian Rick Breckenridge, who dropped out last week and endorsed Rosendale’s campaign saying a Rosendale win is better for the liberty cause than a Tester win, got three percent in this survey.

Change Research is a Democrat polling firm, so for its final poll of Montana to have Rosendale defeating Tester is a major deal. The survey also has Republican Rep. Greg Gianforte (R-MT) ahead of Democrat challenger Kathleen Williams, signaling that the Republicans have locked up another important swing congressional district on their narrow but still possible pathway to holding the House majority. In the RealClearPolitics map of competitive districts, Montana’s at-large congressional district is rated as a toss-up.

BILLY GRAHAM’S SON IS TELLING THE SAD TRUTH – NEVER SAID BETTER

“The American dream ended on November 6th, 2012.  The second term of Barack Obama has been the final nail in the coffin for the legacy of the white Christian males who discovered, explored, pioneered, settled and developed the greatest republic in the history of mankind.

A coalition of blacks, Latinos, feminists, gays, government workers, union members, environmental extremists, the media, Hollywood, uninformed young people, the “forever needy,” the chronically unemployed, illegal aliens and other “fellow travelers” have ended Norman Rockwell’s America.

You will never again out-vote these people.  It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed them to take away.  It will take zealots, not moderates and shy, not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.

People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and I will probably never again be able to legally comment on or concern myself with the aforementioned coalition which has surrendered our culture, our heritage and our traditions without a shot being fired.

The Cocker spaniel is off the front porch, the pit bull is in the back yard, the American Constitution has been replaced with Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” and the likes of Chicago shyster David Axelrod along with international socialist George Soros have been pulling the strings on their beige puppet and have brought us Act 2 of the New World Order.

The curtain will come down but the damage has been done, the story has been told.

Those who come after us will once again have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to white guilt and political correctness..”
