A review of The C.S.A. Trilogy (Independent, 2018) by Howard Ray White.

A beautiful thought experiment for Southerners. The year is 2011, the 150^th anniversary of the founding of the Confederate States of America.    Celebrants are gathering in the capital, Davis, located where Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee come together.

Confederates have every reason to celebrate. They have a free, prosperous, and flourishing society, or rather societies. Confederate success is the envy of the world.  Why? Because of a limited central government with genuine State sovereignty and a truly free economy.  And the Confederacy has played a constructive role in the world as an example and in effective countering of imperialist powers.

Trump Is Right, The Fed Is Crazy – 101 Reasons Why He Must End the Fed

Just today I started reading Jason Chaffetz's book "Deep State" - he
wrote that the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB) was Elizabeth
Warren's (aka Fauxcahontas) pet project and the CFPB was actually funded
not by Congressional appropriation, but directly by the Federal Reserve.
As such, Congress did not have the power of the purse strings to compel
the CFPB to disclose details of their operations and the CFPB could
obfuscate their doings with impunity, and they did.

Consider this: if the Federal Reserve wanted to put the screws to a
seated U.S. President, all they have to do is jack up interest rates and
destroy the economy. Imagine if interest rates hit the same level as
they did in the late 70's and early 80's. Imagine too, how much leverage
this provides to the Federal Reserve - one thing that Donald Trump
understands is leverage.

Rep. Massie of Kentucky introduced (re-introduced actually) a bill to
audit the Federal Reserve - so far he has 87 co-sponsors, including 4
Democrats - Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), Kurt Schrader (D-OR), and Pete DeFazio
(D-OR)

DOJ Takes a Stand: Sex Is Purely Biological, Civil Rights Act Doesn't Protect Transgenders

The Trump administration’s Justice Department urged the Supreme Court to rule that the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which bars discrimination based on “sex,” does not include “gender identity.”

The DOJ’s brief filed Friday in the R.G. and G.R. Harris Funeral Homes v. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission case contended it is the role of Congress, not the courts, to amend the law to include gender identity, if it chooses to do so.

Former US Attorney for the District of Columbia Joe DiGenova joined WMAL radio on Monday to discuss the latest developments in the Spygate Scandal.

DiGenova blasted CNN for hiring fired FBI acting Director Andrew McCabe. McCabe was fired in March 2018 after the Justice Department inspector general report found he had repeatedly lied about his involvement in a leak to The Wall Street Journal regarding an FBI investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

Americans in the bottom 20 percent of income-earners buy more consumer goods and services than the national averages for people living in most of the wealthiest nations of the world, including those in Europe.

That’s the central conclusion of an analysis published Aug. 26 by Just Facts, a New Jersey-based independent nonprofit research institute that describes itself as “dedicated to publishing rigorously documented facts about public policy issues.”

The NY Times Complains About Bias, but Here Are 10 Anti-Trump Stories on Sunday's Front Page

The New York Times is as liberal as it is pretentious.

It is not objective, and it does not hide that fact — at least not very well.

Despite its left-leaning ways, The Times still purports to be unbiased and writes with ostensibly shocked and appalled tones that others could dare see the world differently from its liberal audience.

In fact, The Times recently wrote about The Western Journal (the publication you are reading now) alleging that WJ is misleading, ideological and partisan.

Houston Narcotics Cop Who Instigated a Deadly Drug Raid Is Charged With Murder

Today Harris County, Texas, District Attorney Kim Ogg announced that Gerald Goines, the narcotics officer who instigated the disastrous January 28 drug raid that killed a middle-aged couple, has been charged with two counts of felony murder. The raid, which discovered no evidence of drug dealing, was based on an affidavit by Goines that cited a "controlled buy" of heroin that apparently never happened.

After initially defending the no-knock raid at 7815 Harding Street and describing Goines as a hero, Police Chief Art Acevedo revealed that investigators had been unable to identify the confidential informant who supposedly had bought heroin from Dennis.
