Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund is pleased to endorse Harold Johnson for Congress in North Carolina's Eighth District.
Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund is pleased to endorse Harold Johnson for Congress in North Carolina's Eighth District.
Harold Johnson earned an "A" rating from GOA based on his unwavering support of the right to keep and bear arms.
Harold respects the Second Amendment as originally intended by the Founding Fathers, and has pledged to "steadfastly work to maintain this right and fight vigorously against any measures that seek to undermine it."
Harold's opponent, Larry Kissell, has turned out to be just another of Pelosi's voting puppets.
In 2009, Kissell voted three times against protecting gun rights in national parks. And after turning his back on the Second Amendment, he turned around and voted to greatly expand the amount of federally controlled land that would be subject to a total gun ban.
And this year, Kissell voted for the so-called DISCLOSE Act, which seeks to prevent groups like GOA from criticizing an incumbent's voting record in the months leading up to an election. DISCLOSE, a blatant violation of the First Amendment, should more accurately be called the "Incumbent Protection Act." But given Kissell's bad voting record, it is not surprising that he would like to hide it from his constituents.
The choice for gun owners and sportsmen in North Carolina's Eighth Congressional District is clear. Unlike his opponent, Harold Johnson will always stand up for the Constitution and the right to keep and bear arms.
GOA encourages all Second Amendment supporters to help Harold Johnson win this seat in the U.S. Congress. If you can volunteer your time in these last days before the election, or can make a financial contribution, please visit Harold at:

Of course, if you live in North Carolina's Eighth District, please remember to vote for Harold Johnson.
Early voting begins today, so please encourage all your pro-gun family and friends in the district to vote for Harold Johnson.
Sincerely,
Tim Macy Vice-Chairman

Considering Johnson has never had the ability to actually do anything to support gun owners, this is a crazy endorsement. And they're just trying to be relevant by opposing the NRA candidate.`
