"Project Gunrunner or the "walking" guns portion could/should have been prevented. Based on a series of abuses, abject failures in the system to provide oversight and protect whistleblowers, Senior ATF management has been empowered to believe they are above the law and whistleblowers are fair game and ATF attorneys will crush anyone who comes forward. Myself and Special Agent Jay Dobyns have been the most public in attempting to gain oversight and accountability. Between us we have over 50 years of combined experience coast to coast with the agency."
