Old picture, non completely re-done and beautiful.
The largest antebellum bayou sugar cane plantation house until 1915. The present structure was designed by Henry Howard and includes a ballroom, an elaborate Beaux Arts fireplace and a 9 ft stained glass transom. Approximately 15,000 square feet of living space includes a parlor, music room, library and man's bedroom.
Gorgeous. No way could they replicate it today and get the same elegance.
ReplyDelete$3.2M is really a good deal for it.
Wonder what the taxes are? The upkeep would be a killer.
ReplyDeleteIf you can afford the house, you don't think about that. Your accountant pays it for you. :)
