The Government Can’t Force You to Buy Something. But They Can Tax You for Anything.

Via Puma By Design

Freedom Died Today.

The Supreme Court has said that the federal government can not force you to buy something via the Commerce Clause, but they can TAX you if you don’t purchase something.

In other words, the federal government has the power to tax you for behavior that does to conform to their wishes.

To paraphrase Rush Limbaugh “When the federal government has the power to tax behavior, there is no limit to what they can do.”

Today:

Tax on not purchasing healthcare, which is a tax on your behavior.

Tomorrow:

Tax for not purchasing exercise equipment, clothing or a health club membership.

Tax for not purchasing healthy foods.

Tax for not purchasing a hybrid vehicle.

More @ Freedom By The Way
Tax for not taking out a Government backed student loan.

Tax for not living in high-density housing.

Tax for not signing up for White House Alerts on your cell phone or e-mail.

Tax for not turning in your firearms.

Tax for not spaying or neutering your pet.

Tax for not getting recommended healthcare screenings or tests.

Tax for not visiting the dentist.

Tax for not accepting food stamps.

Tax for not getting an RFID chip.

Tax for not…the sky is the limit.

What is our recourse?
