The State of Things

Via Western Rifle Shooters Association

LANGUAGE!

A few days ago, I suggested a general rule for predicting Supreme Court decisions:
In light of the above examples and the Court's generally odious history, and if one must engage in fruitless speculation, I suppose one might adopt this rule of thumb: with the subject and questions of the particular case in mind, what is the worst way the Supreme Court can f--- you? Answer that, and you should at least be in the right ballpark.
In this case, the worst way the Supreme Court can f--- each and every one of us is to find the individual mandate constitutional -- which is precisely what the Court did.

Since I long ago dubbed the health insurance bill The F--- You Act, it all fits together very neatly.
